Key to scoring on the Bears is short throws. Their pass rush is too good to do what we did last week. Take the underneath stuff....run the ball well and take a shot here and there....preferably off play action.

We try to do a bunch of 7 step drops and the Bears might get 13 sacks.

We can get to Trubisky....I don’t think he’s that good. His stats probably get more of a hike then any QB in football because of the run after catch production they get. Cohen is a monster in the open field and the Bears screen game is legit. We need to be ready for that and have an answer.....or the Bears might end up with a number of 40+ yards plays.

All told....

Lions are going to get run over. Cooter will be fired Monday though

Slay out? This may end up looking like the Chicago-Tampa Bay game. We're not going to stop the run, because we haven't all year. By not stopping the run, it's going to give Trubinsky easy play action passes that Lawson/Tabor are just not good enough to recognize. The Bears are going to score a lot, and it's going to look easy.

Offensively, we should expect to go nowhere. Mack is back, and they have arguably the best defense in the league. Stafford is going to be under pressure all day (Lang out again, though I expect the O-line to look better), Johnson may still be slowed by his ankle, and it's a recipe for consistent 3 and outs.

I'm not sure it would even matter if we had a different O coordinator tomorrow, but if a bad loss gets Cooter fired I'll consider the game a success.

We'll see how big their stones are for this game. The team getting raked through the coals for 2 weeks now. Especially Stafford. Time to put up or stfu.

Yep. I swear to god if we come out taking sacks on seven step drops I?m going to go ape shit.

3-5 step. Ball out. Repeat. Get Riddick involved. Sit Blounts big ass on the bench. 20+ carries for KJ.

KJ is on the wrong team to get 20 carries.

Bears will kill us if that's the gameplan. They need to run KJ into the ground but they also need to play defense well in order for this to happen. Stafford needs to come out firing on all cylinders and play like a stud. A lot of factors go into this. No Slay on d is going to sting....

This is probably the game where the sucks us back in again...and then we go back to...well, if we beat Carolina we can still make the playoffs.
