Not the first time we have traded a run for an out in the double steal situation this season. I’m not a fan.

Tigers info while perusing the internet at the usual places.

Reminder: The 2014 MLB Draft starts tonight.

We are proud to recognize former Tigers outfielder and member of the 2012 AL Championship team, Austin Jackson, with the 2024 Willie Horton African American Legacy Award!
Jackson made his MLB debut for the Tigers in April 2010 and played for Detroit from 2010-14. He was a member of the Tigers postseason teams in 2011, 2012 and 2013 and led the American League in triples in 2010 and 2011.

An All-Star send off for Riley and Skubal!

Since May 1, Colt Keith is hitting .300 with all nine of his home runs and an .853 OPS in 59 games. His 140 wRC+ in that stretch ranks 23rd among 152 qualified hitters, including first among second basemen.

Mark Canha (right wrist) and Javier Baez (back) are both available in an emergency but will otherwise get a day plus All-Star break to rest and recuperate.

Riley pops out on ball 4 (a 3-1 count) with two on base . When a pitcher can't find the strike zone, don't help them out. This should have been an actual rally.

soft tosser; his fastest pitch so far is 88.4 mph in this game. And another potential rally squandered. Barrels are so hard to come by with men on base.

Kenta hitting 94. He's definitely airing it out. Maybe just keeping him in this role will at least get somethimg out of him.

He keeps calling him Pot heads, right or am I hearing that wrong?

Now we move into their good relief pitchers. Too many opportunities squandered today; it's going to be tough.

Such bullshit. He totally was in Kelly’s way. He was totally in front of him.
