Think they changed it so they did not have to have so many offdays in between for travel when series went coat-to-coast.

Trying to keep postseason baseball in October, and not the first week of November like it had been going.

1979 MSU vs. Indiana State. Magic vs. Bird. I am working at a Machine shop at Big Beaver and John R. Couple of guys bring in a TV out in the loading dock area. Same couple of guys get fired. We were a UAW shop: Rule 1.....make sure ya got yer 90 days in!

Every game in 68 was played in the daytime, but I dont think it was the sun that struck out 17 Tiger batters game 1. Hey, if that was the Tigers greatest series why cry about a couple day games now? If you are from Detroit you should know how to intimidate your bosses into allowing a TV at work. Something like,
#1)"You know Mr. Jones I have many a fond memory of those devil nights back in my childhood..."
