Giants third trip in five years...

Same team the tigers lost to in 2012, don't really like the giants but I'm afraid I'll be hoping they win becuase I just can't stand the thought of the royals accomplishing what the tigers have not been able to all these years in a year at which the tigers took the division over KC and beat them in head to head what 13 of 19 in the regular season was it? Practically owned em

I'm sorry but if KC ends up winning this I'm just going to feel it a real kick in the nads and only nail it in and depress me immensely that the tigers just can't get this done yet a team they owned most of the year can..it's just very depressing

Bob I think you're feeling the same aren't ya

When that walk-off homer happened, I got mad all over that the Tigers did not make it again and that the Giants are in for the third time in five years.

Two wild card teams in the WS, #5 seed vs a #4 seed, yippy. winning the div means absolutely nothing. Tigers are an excerise if frustration.

This can't be your first rodeo, right?

Winning the division gets you into the postseason. Winning the division get you into the postseason without the prospect of getting knocked out with a single loss. Winning the division may or may not give a team home-field advantage in either one or two rounds of the playoffs. That's where winning the division means, and that's all that winning the division means.

The Tigers are the ones who decided to get swept by Baltimore. Everyone was scared of facing the Angels and we were all thankful that KC got that job for us. They took care of their business and the Tigers didn't. They were sitting there waiting for us to meet in the ALCS, where we could have beaten them ourselves, but the Tigers opted not to cooperate. Take your frustration out on the team that deserves it, which is the Tigers not the Royals.

I want KC to win because I'm happy for a fanbase that has had zero to cheer about for 30 years. I don't have any real beef with Kansas City or it's fans either like I would if it was the Cleveland Indians or something. It's a very cool story, and as Tigers fans we can relate having gone through it ourselves in 2006. I also hate the stupid Giants and the stupid Cardinals. Why would you want one of those NL teams to win it again? I really don't think KC losing is going to make any of us feel better about the Tigers losing. Just my opinion.

Naw it would be a kick in the teeth in KC wins it because we are way better then they are.. I am not going to go out of my way to watch and root for the Giants but KC can keep waiting like us...

Just my opinion but I don't think finishing a whopping 1 game ahead of a team in the standings despite a 13-6 record against them qualifies as being "way better." I don't think you're giving KC enough credit as to how good they are.

To each their own though. People can cheer for whomever they want for whatever reason they want.

Nope, that's it not, years and years of Tiger disappointment falling just short and Lions dismay start to pile up and permanently damage ones ability to reason is all. LOL. whatever..just stupid games is all right.. stupid tigers. stupid lions.

Yup...I'm full of stupid... Started way back in that 5-0 playoff lose in 1970 in Dallas... There has been a few success with the tigers, wings wolverines, Spartans and Pistons but it sure would be nice to have some more in the bank..
