Jones is basically the Derek Jeter of CF gold gloves at this point. I'm convinced they will just keep giving him the award in the face of all contradictory evidence at this point. The fact that he has multiple gold gloves while Jackson has none is patently absurd.

Perhaps but then again maybe Jackson needs to stop letting balls drop in front of him and learn how to slide catch before he gets one? Maglio was pretty good at that slide catch stuff, maybe they can hire him to teach him. lol..

Magglio could only slide catch if the ball was 10 feet in front of him. The slide catch doesn't work as well when you are running flat out for a ball most other outfielders would have no chance at.

oh I don't know about that, gotta run yourself into the right angle first. I know it can be done, I used to do it all the time.
