I was just watching some highlights about Lucks protection in Indy and every play they showed Gosder got beat like a drum. So happy we got rid of him and Peterman.

Waddle and Warford look like absolute steals, proving once again that we can trust in MM.

Xanders....we can trust in xanders. *fixed*

Because the GM that turned a whole franchise over after years of neglect had nothing to do with it.

Strapped with a horrid cap situation

Basically only had the draft to work with

NO talent on roster aside from Calvin.

Trust in MM

LKP, he hasn't done well in the draft. No proof that he has. So if all he had was the draft and failed, why should I trust him?

Stafford, Pettigrew,Delmas,Levy,Suh,Young,Fairley,Reiff,Bentley(recently),Ansah,Warford,Taylor. Plus undrafted Waddle and Fauria.

That's alot of hits.

Plus some great trades with draft picks. Sims/Houston/Hill/Corey Williams

Burleson, Tulloch, Bush, Mosely, Quin in free agency. More hits.

Keeping Calvin, extending Stafford.

Take out the first rounders, and he's failed. You might be happy with one decent draft in 5 years but I'm not.

LOL take out the first rounders. He's 100% in the first round. That's incredible.

Take out any GMs first rounders and they fail.

And it's been several good drafts. Some bad injury luck in Round 2.

2009,2010(with trades, Suh and Young and Best short term) and 2013. 2011 and 2012 I'll take the first rounders anyday plus Bentley.

Lol I'm not LKP. But this.

Also, i would add keeping Levy over Durant (iirc most here wanted Durant back. He just got benched in Dallas btw.)

He is an aggressive, but smart GM that not only filled this team with talent, he also helped change the culture of this franchise.

Mayhew's biggest issue IMO is, as a former CB, you'd think he would be able to shore up that position. Slay needs more time, Bentley...don't think he's got it, Houston got paid and forgot how to play, Mathis...time to put a fork in him. I would have liked Jonte Green to get some playing time this season, see if he's improved after his rookie year. Greenwood? Who knows.

take out the 1st rounders??? lmfao ..pure gold.

And newsflash!! he hasnt completely failed after the 1st round .....give your head a fn shake

I know I spit out my drink when he said take out the 1st rounders. LOL

4 sacks, 12 hits and 24 hurries for Gosder by the way.
.3 (average) run block. Gosder was very disappointing as a run blocker as a Lion. Loving Waddle and his cheap contract.

Xanders FTW.

I nailed this draft in February, because the picks were needs, not injured, and generally good players. Usually after round one I (like many others) are just shaking my head going wtf. That all of a sudden changes drastically in one year? Coincidentally the year this guy is put in charge of scouting?

Scouting system. Mayhew with final say. Pathetic you can't give mayhew credit

Bad injury luck is Delmas. The others never proved they were any good.

And mayhew hired him. Smart to get better scouts. Better info.
