Grading Stafford

Overall, the Lions have lost two in a row to subpar opponents, despite having fourth-quarter leads in both games. While execution is the biggest culprit, the Lions didn't have the focus you'd expect from a playoff contender and that's on coaching.

Yup..

Yup..

The coaching is pitiful. Dirty Gym Shorts was supposed to be a defensive guru.

I agree C... Beyond bad this year.. Would be 9-2 with even a half way decent coach this year.

Agreed. I see this team as pre Harbaugh 9ers. We're not the most talented team in the league but the pieces are there.

Harbaugh would look at delmas, quin, Houston and mathis and say......"this team will never amount to shit."

Every part of this team has big issues. They surface at different times from game to game. Stafford needs to get his shit together, because all I see is a quarterback suffering from the post-traumatic stress of his first two seasons in the league. He makes some of the poorest decisions as a quarterback. The zip on his throws and height of the receivers help minimize the int's.

This team is so draining. I gotta go bury my face in some tits and maybe it'll make me feel better.

oh theres shitty durham 5 yards away from me on a quick slant....how about I riffle it at him 100 mph and see what happens lmao.

what kind of fucking idiot do we have at qb?.....

Is not important what grade mlive gives but pff or ppf or pmf, whatever it's called.

I'd bet money that Hill would get this team to the playoffs if he started the rest of the season, and I'm not talkin Washingtons either.

3 weeks ago I would've argued that, not today though. He just isn't a leader

I just meant in general. Big stats, shows flashes of greatness, but chokes to much to get anywhere.

the problem is Staffords flashes only happen when haleys comet is visible.

See...right here I'd like to post a clip of the Diff'rent Strokes episode where they watch Halley's Comet. Sadly, I can't find one making it perhaps more rare than both Halley's Comet and Stafford's flashes.

Just post the one where Dudley gets molested in the bike shop. That is an apt metaphor for our season.
