Greatest thirdbaseman of all time

It's basically a battle between Robinson, Schmidt and Brett.. I would say Schmidt was the best hitter, brooks the best defender and brett was good all around.. THen again they were all good at everything.. The shocking part is that there iwas never 3rd basemen with dominant offensive stats historically like you see SS, and outfielders.. I would have thought there would have been a totally offensive juggernaught 3rd baseman before a SS..

I forgot to include A-Rod. Oops. Wonder if that would have made a difference. Just plumb forgot. I could throw him in at SS. 1272 games in his career at short. 1081 at 3b. By the time he's done, he'll have more at third barring career ending injury or Mayan 2012 apocalypse.

I should have made mention of my sarcasm using the word 'esteemed'.
It was to be, (and should have been) expected, that some of the posters would vote Inge 'for a laugh' being part of a group of all-time thirdbasemen.

We have had several polls done about All Time/Tigers all time players, so far all of them respectable until now.

The people voting for Inge to purposely mess up this poll are the type I thought we left at ESPN.

Sorry guys I voted for inge just for shits and giggles so he wouldnt get shut out. at the time Shidmt was winning big and inge had a goose egg goen like he should have.

I just didnt think 8 others would follow suit.
