Can you imagine if the Tigers had him... They would have won the pennant in 1944 for sure and he was one of the first stars to go in the service and when he was disqualified he applied again after Pearl Harbor. Thank you Hank... A Great American and a great Tiger..
Greenberg was the man. My great-grandma loved him (or so I am told). When my grandma talked about her mother, Hank Greenberg and ladies day were almost always mentioned.
