The resident Noter Dame sucks bandwagon fan here in the office just said something about Meijer "coming after other school's recruits"

Any examples? I haven't been following Ohio* recruiting outside of Dunn's situation.

Meyer supposedly contacted a goodly number of recruits from other schools (including Kalis who said thanks but no thanks). Looks like he is taking a serious run at Dodson (Wisconsin) and some QB that is committed to FSU.

He was successful in getting Se'von Pittman to decommit from MSU and the DT out of PSU. The thing is, Pittman had been hanging around the program all season. He was considered an outside chance to switch to the Buckeyes even before Urban.

Side note: after the whole tat-5 thing, I added the Dodge Charger to my list of "cars dumbasses drive." It probably should've already been on there. I drove one over the summer, as a rental car in New Jersey. I felt like a dumbass.

it is very strange how these kids are switching (not from penn state i get that one)...but after months and months..crap years... of recruiting some of these kids..they talk to urban for 2 weeks and suddenly change their minds or quickly commit?

there is plenty of taint on all this.

1. meyer wasn't running the cleanest program in florida
2. how and why ohio gets to have extra coaches, especially after all the prior issues
3. suddenly gets a player who never considered ohio

just move along, nothing to see here but more ohio corruption

there are reasons why ohio has the most presidents of any state, just sayin'

i live in nyc and even the locals here look at ohio in part disbelief, part admiration cuz u gotta have some big brass ones and serious blackmail to even think this could be accomplished, let alone pull it off.

ohio needs to send psu some high quality presents for xmas this year.

I don't buy it, especially considering all the negatives that go with him and the possible sanctions vs Ohio. The fact he has flipped these guys before the sanctions have been announced is also interesting. Add to that the fact he is even being allowed to contact recruits while the current coaching staff focuses on their bowl game is pathetic. I could see it if a coach has announced his retirement, fine let the new guy start recruiting. But Ohio is facing sanctions...it should never have been allowed.
