Asked about skyrocketing expectations that accompanied his arrival, Harbaugh had a response that was, if not exactly literal, at least diplomatic.
"Fans have a constitutional right to expect success and have high expectations," he said. "Players, coaches, staff -- we all have the high expectations, too. We have really high expectations for this week's workouts and continuing to get stronger, get faster and get better."

Local Denver radio did a bit on Harbaugh showing up at the UM Ultimate Frisbee team practice and then ragged on ultimate and Harbaugh for a while ...

Dumbass radio jock - I played Ultimate at UM in '93 and they were mocking it as some new, made up sport.

the University needs to get Harbaugh someone who can get him up to speed on some of these topics... first that stupid American Sniper thing, and now conflating fan expectations with Constitutional rights.

Maybe he and Boehner can read the Declaration of independence aloud together...?

Pipe down you elitist snob.

I say that with the utmost respect. :*)

Doesn't everyone think Coach Jim might have being a little hyperbolically facetious?

Hang on now. Let's just wait and see if he brings wins first. If it ain't broke, we let him be. I really don't care if he thinks the 1st amendment ensures your access to a bench press if it means we start beating our rivals again.

I feel like someone needs to start singing Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue by Toby Keith

personally I can't stand country hip/hop ...too much violence in the lyrics about busting a cap in a cow's ass and ropin' dogies with their Ho's ..

Yup, I just read it as Jim being his exuberant self. I don't mind it one bit either; he is bringing a strong energy to the program that we have lacked for a number of years.

I'm pretty sure he's aware it's not technically a Right ...

Love Harbaugh!!

Wow, Harbaugh sure ended the honeymoon for champ in a hurry.

Either that or his nic needs to change to MenstrualCramp.

Wait, what??? That damn TV Closed Captioning is terrible with names. ;P
