Hockey Update 3/9/2019 BTT

#12 Wolverines 3-2 travel Lake Superior st and trail 4-2 starting the third period. I guess defense is a issue verses really good teams. Defense is just shit. Down 5-2 now. They better freaking figure out this defense because we are just not good in the defensive zone verses above average teams. Guys lose 5-2 and fall to 3-3 on the season. Play the same team again Saturday night. Seems like they played like this early last season also. Hope they get better. Lakers improve to 5-0.

I was all excited as the mgoblue site has the scores all messed up. Michigan ends up with a weekend split . Getting smoked tonight 6-2 by ND. Michigan falls to 5-4.

Down 4-2 after two . Michigan scores four goals in the 3rd and wins 6-4. Team improves to 2-1 in conference and 6-4 overall.

11-17-18. Michigan at Psu.

Michigan lost 7-6 in overtime. Not sure how game went . Box score later. Defense is still real bad. 6-5 overall and 2-2 in conference. Michigan again like Friday trailed 4-2 at the end of the second period . Michigan scored four in the third and psu scored two and then we lost in ot sadly .

Hosting Wisconsin this weekend. Game ends in a tie 1-1 . Michigan won in ot so we get the extra point but record wise we still sit at 6-5-1 and 2-2-1. I hate how the big ten does it’s overtime . Can someone explain it to me lol? Same teams play again Saturday at Yost.

Damn it all. Tied shitty Wisconsin again tonight 2-2 . No goal 3 on 3 but Wisconsin wins the extra point and shootout. What a crappy day. 6-5-2 and 2-2-2 now.

So I am a tad concerned about this team just like last season Pearson’s team is starting slowly. Poor on defense and decent on offense but then like last weekend when the defense and goal tending held a poor Wisconsin team in check the offense was a no show verses second to last place team in the Big Ten. I hope for a better showing verses MSU as they are in last place but alas you can probably throw the records out in this series. Team really needs a sweep but more then likely it will be at least a split.

This team is under .500 now losing 4-3 at Msu. You have one of the drafts best players and your team stinks. Mich is now 2-3-2 and 6-6-2 overall and would not make the Ncaa as of right now.

Team is just not playing well espically at home . 0-1-3 last for at home to Wisconsin and MSU. Team is 6-6-3 right now and ranked 29th pari-wise and have a top 5 pick in Hughes and are not playing well. They tied tonight and then lost the extra point in the shootout to MSU.

Michigan's lazy defense cost them the lead. Up 1-0 middle second Michigan terrible lazy defense allowed two terrible goals . Losing again at home late second period. Team just cant find its offense. Then were real lazy on defense. Team needs a spark badly.

Goal !!!! 2-2. Needed that badly. Team has had so many chances to score. Just can’t finish. A poor pinch in lead to a Gopher breakaway after so much perssure by Michigan.

Wolverines get the extra point with a nice overtime 3 on 3 Finsh with 12 seconds left. . I think the game still ends in a darn tie. 6-6-4 now.
