Hoops vs Purdue

Why not force them to bring the ball up the full length of the court rather than letting the inbound bounce beyond the top of the key before it is touched and the clock started?

Hey coach Painter. I know we miss free throws. But the game is over. Nice win .

Team started 1-5 . Now 9-7 in the big ten.

Great win! Advanced metrics had Purdue as the 7th best team at home in the country. No small task stealing one at Mackey

Wagner with a quiet 22 pts. Livers with 19. And Brooks with a broken nose.

Loving how we're playing now. Wish we could avoid some scoring droughts, but it's the second of two road games in tough arenas so I'lltake it.

Livers is the key to everything. Wagner playing better is a direct result of Howard's sticking with him through his slump. The next 6 weeks will be fun.

Defense has really locked in. You can tell these guys are building chemistry and communicating so much better on that end.

Rebounding is vastly improved as well.

We get all the shots we want on offense. If we're hitting, we're a crazy dangerous team.

I watched this great win at work today. I expected a closer game. I'm glad we got regular Purdue today.

Great win! Watched it at the brewery yesterday. I was shocked that Michigan would beat Purdue like that @Purdue.

Look at that! Livers is healthy. Michigan gets a pretty fair shake from the refs without some crazy free throw discrepancy. Michigan wins! I guess Michigan must've really changed their style from earlier in the year...

Wagner is really coming on now. Having him in a groove and healthy is helping this team, too. I think having Livers out there with him helps.

The development of Davis and Johns, especially them getting major minutes when Livers was out, has really helped this team.

MSU and Iowa got smoked at Purdue.

Another thing! I just loved the intensity and the effort from this entire team. You could tell they really wanted it. They fought for every rebound and loose ball. They really outworked Purdue.

Hard to believe a few weeks ago that I was doubting they would make it into the tournament. If they keep playing like this they may wind up a 5 seed or maybe even higher.

I 2nd that. I had no belief they would even make the tourney. I guess that one player will do that.

I agree with all of you . The defensive intensity is something. I am so glad Howard is more open to using a zone some zone from time to time because I think our length can bug teams. Just for a change up or to protect foul issues.
