Look I hope we go on this amazing winning streak and Brad is given a key to the city after our WS winning parade but if we do get way under .500 when do we cut him off and start selling guys if possible? I think it's 5 to 7 games!

5-7 games? Most likely he's here for the year but I can't imagine him getting fired if they start losing a few more. The one thing I worry about if he is fired the temp becomes permanent next season. IMO, we don't have anyone on the staff I'd want as manager.

Asap IMO. But my guess is he has till around the all star break or trade deadline. Similar to DD last year.

I don't think he gets fired. I think the hitting and/or pitching coaches are made the scapegoats first.

well, the way the players are pitching and hitting...maybe they wouldn't be scapegoats but actually deserve to be fired.

I hope Mike Ilitch gets bullshit either at the all-star break if they keep up this shit show, but realistically I hope he makes a clean sweep at the end of the year.
Ausmus, doobeedon'tbee the pitching coach, joyner, omar, and fat daddy lamont. Any others, send them packing too, maybe the exception of 3rd base coach Clark. See whatever is out there for Sanchez and Pelfrey, even if it's a no nothing minor leaguer. Then trade for or sign a FA starter.
Find that dipshit scout who said to sign Pelfrey and throw him in the Detroit River.

I've been running all of them through my head, and the two who might are Leyland or Gibson. Thing is each has something holding him back, Leyland's age and he said that he was through with managing, and Gibson with the Parkinsons health problem. One other possibilty imo would be shit can ausmus and have fat daddy ride it out for the rest of the season, or bring up Lloyd from the minors.
Then they might have to go for an available veteran manager after the season.

38-43 at home last season. Now 5-9 to start this season. It's time for a change .

It sucks because it's so early in the season. I was hoping he would get canned after last season.. but now we're looking, imo, at an uninspired temp.

Maybe they can send Brad down to work on his lineup setting and bring Lloyd up for a while
Lol

He needs to work on his shoulder rub technique. Clearly it's his fault the starting pitching has been awful. Nobody could have predicted this! >:D

We have plenty of guys with managerial experience in the organization with mac, gibby, tram, etc. I don't see any of those guys making 4/5 of our rotation at least serviceable or making the bottom of the lineup less of a black hole.
