How the Mueller Investigation Could Play Out for Trump

We don't know much of what there is. We're mostly guessing. I've been guessing the main threat to Trump isn't collusion for about as long as this thread has been running. But this sliver of unintentionally leaked info points towards collusion. It's not an entire case, it's 1 leaked bit of information in a direction that I didn't think was the most likely direction for this investigation to be heading.

I still not convinced that collusion is the main thrust of the investigation, but this is significant. Would you have brushed it aside as readily if Obama's campaign manager was sharing poll data with a Russian?

I've been saying the same all along as well.

It all depends - I think if it was as thin as this, I'd be asking the same questions before calling for his impeachment. I fully recognize my bias and willingness if not desire to believe the worst about the Obamas, Clintons, Schumers, Pelosis of the world but I still think adhere to the same standards of evidence. My bias is mostly manifested in the joy I would take in seeing any of those people held accountable for their indiscretions, if that were ever to happen.

House dems turn to waste of bunch of time

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...na-donald-trump-jr-first-russia-investigation

repubs had thier two years found all kinds of shit but nothing ever came of it. waste of time.

Waste time compared to what? With the House, Senate, and White House there was a tax cut, which is done now, and what else were you expecting? 2 years of being in control but no wall and it's an emergency the instant there's an opposing Dem led House to push back.

There was a tax cut in year 1 and it's been all for show and running out the clock ever since.

If the government operates at a snails pace when House, Senate, and WH are all republican, why would you worry about wasting time now that it's split and almost certain to move slower anyway?

Why waste time calling people in to testify and find actionable items only to not act on it. I call that a waste of time. it doesn't matter what they find the DOJ won't do anything so quit wasting our time

who knows, maybe some 2nd amendment enthusiast will exercise his/her rights and end this bullshit

Yeah since Republicans now think the DOJ is there to protect the President rather than uphold the law.

I love how the term "fixer" is applied to Cohen's name at every opportunity. It's like people know what that means or that it's common ...like everyone has an attorney that extorts and threatens in order to "fix" problems.

It seems like there was a point where there was an argument over the possibility of attorney-client privilege and some people wanted to use the term "fixer" to imply that little, if any, of what Cohen did was legal work.

I think the term has gotten into the common lexicon because of Ray Donovan.
