How the Mueller Investigation Could Play Out for Trump

I'm not so concerned about the politicians. You're correct, they can be defeated politically, My greater concern is the secret police state tactics that were employed in the run up to the 2016 election, and after the election, for the purpose of effectively nullifying the election. That is not a good thing for America. The DOJ and FBI pieces of shit who ran that operation need to be held accountable, in my opinion. And to the extent that the politicians were pushing buttons, fuck them too. I wish more people shared my opinion but plenty do. And it's not crazy to call out the bad guys, Tinsel. It's the right thing to do. Let's see where we are three or six months from now.

One could re-write it to fit the ending scene of Chinatown-“forget it, Jake-it’s the FBI.”

I want to start by announcing that I?m Atheist, and that being said I want to thank God for giving me my sense of the ironic and the absurd.? - The start of my acceptance speech if I ever win an artistic achievement award for anything.

I want to thank God for giving me my sense of the ironic and the absurd, and for making me an atheist.

I want to thank God for giving me my sense of the ironic and the absurd, and for making me an atheist.

that kinda reminds me of that Galileo quote:
"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."
Galileo Galilei

And when you use your sense, reason, and intellect, you become an atheist.

Says the types of atheists that can't wait to tell you they're atheists.

(Which is totally different from Tinsel working it into that acceptance speech line.)

maybe you're not as smart as I thought. Try to be better.

Man, what did I use to say back in the day that impressed people so much?

You used to talk about math and science a lot, which you are stronger at I’m pretty sure than anybody on this board, and then you seemed about as smart as the rest of the smart people in other things.

You have a doctorate from Duke in some kind of science or math study right?

I don’t think anybody else here has something like that. I don’t have something like that.

EDIT: I explained the answer, but I didn’t specifically give the answer. I think your math and science acumen is what gave you the perceived edge once upon a time.

It still might.

You carefully compiled a statistical argument to prove to spartanhack that racial bias is prevalent in American society, and he just kept responding, "nuh uh" to every one of your posts, and you still didn't lose your temper.

I don?t consider myself an atheist though.

I don?t get any more specific than that.

I meant that to be tongue in cheek, not an actual question.

We should have a board point of etiquette where it's considered poor form to question posters' intelligence anyway. We self-select to be here, so the way I see it, the people we choose to talk to this way sort of reflects our own perceived needed level of intellectual engagement. It's like living in a cookie cutter neighborhood where all the houses are pretty much the same wondering who's wealthiest.

Edit: it's like calling one of your neighbors poor.

It's a good line for a speech, but I tried shuffling it because until you hit the last half of it, it sounds like you're a vegan or a crossfitter or something pushing your lifestyle. "I want to thank God for..." sounds like every other speech ever so you can sneak up on them.

Eh, maybe it's better to sound like a crossfitter. You're just sneaking up from a different angle. And the audience is relieved to discover you're not the vegan lifestyle pusher type.

Don't listen to me anyway. I'm a terrible public speaker.

The way I wrote it is the way it just came to me. Like Divine inspiration.

I am struggling with your part of it. Hyperbolic complaining about journalistic malfeasance and such. I'd love to see a few examples of what you think is a good representation of what the mainstream media has been reporting for years that's factually wrong and driven by unethical bias, but it would be pretty silly of me to expect you to back up your claims with a link.

youre struggling with a lot more than that. good try. though. of course it would be silly of me to to expect you to admit you were wrong rather than just deflect and move the goal posts.

as for evidence, i guess its you who hasnt been paying attention during the first 80 pages of this thread. all of its right here. i could post a link to it but i bet you could get there on your own.
