I am fucking sick of Trump

Here's a whacko idea:

Hillary: "Donald, run for president, win the GOP nomination and that will ensure that I am elected."

Donald: "Sure, whatever maintains the oligarchy."

And she helped turn the Middle East into a giant f!n mess why would anyone think it won't become an even bigger mess under her leadership is beyond me, and she'll end up granting tens of thousands of War torn nation men of fighting age refuges in which is an incredibly bad idea. Granted trump could just inflame the Middle East even more also... trump and his stupid mouth is going to make shillary the next potus and that makes me sick. Looks like we're all f'd either way..well maybe she'll at least be able to disclose some of the alien cover ups..perhaps my only hope for hunmity, end the truth embargo and let's reach for the Stars already..a lifetime compulsive liar ending the truth embargo wouldn't that be an ultimate irony, nodoby will believe her though...cuz she lies all the time

I started to type an intelligent response to your post, but then after I finished reading all of it, I decided that was not warranted.

that's what my wife also thought... "someone paid Trump to run"

Ha.

my thoughts: so it's that easy to rig elections? no one else behind the scenes could discern this plot and blow it up? and what does that say about Republicans, when any ignoranus willing to utter whatever thoughtlessly racist or offensive comment pops into his head will run away with their party's nomination? This isn't even hyperbole at this point, this is what actually happened!

but both sides are bad... both sides do it... there isn't any difference between Hillary Clinton and Trump and here's a picture of them posing together at a gala which "proves" this is true.

Sometimes...often... I'm bad at reading the intent of posts. So I'll ask. Are you trying to characterize what someone else is claiming here? Because while in a lot of way, sure, Republicans and Democrats are guilty of the same things. But I don't think anyone is saying that about this. These two trainwrecks are completely opposite. One side - the game is rigged, and the other side completely lost control of the game.

Both sides do what?

rhetorical devices lose their power when the speaker has to spoon feed what he's really saying to the audience.

would you go up to Christ and say "I'm not quite sure what you meant by that parable. Please spell it out in plainer terms." or would you take a sec to think about what he said?

I can read a rhetorical device if the idea behind it follows the conversation. But when you throw out references to statements that nobody's making except in your own head, it gets a little tricky.

A strawman argument is one thing. But a sarcastic strawman?

That's exactly what happened with the parable of the sower.

I highly doubt Trump could articulate what an oligarchy is.

I should strip down my response. I left it too open to interpretation. What I meant is: What false equivalence are you talking about and who do you think is making it?

In his mind, he knows all about oligarchy. He'll be the head of the best oligarchy; don't worry about that. You've never seen an oligarchy like the oligarchy he can bring to the White House.

You may not like hillary's answers but at least she understands the question

That's the approach Trump should have taken to the Khan situation. Hillary voted to send him to Iraq so he could die for no reason, when I'm president we won't be in the business of nation building anymore. Point out that hillary has always been a hawk and though that steaming pile of shit should be laid at the feet of bush Cheney etc, hillary voted for it.

If he were smart or at least thought before he spoke

weren't you the one who had that "both sides do it, but the GOP's positions are particularly awful" argument a while back?

I was expecting you to chime in about that rhetorical comment i made above that Gulo took issue with (because apparently we can only refer to literal comments made in that same thread, not in other threads and not with any words paraphrased, or he won't accept them as valid).

I'm not like that. If it was said in some other thread, that's fine. In fact, that's what I was trying to ask. Who said what that you were referring to?

That pic was taken at Trump's 2005 wedding, not some fund-raising gala for penguins in Antarctica. Still, Trump invited the Clinton's as trophies and they willingly accepted (according to Trump.) And Trump donated campaign funds directly to Hillary in 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2007. And an additional $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation.

And now they are fierce adversaries. Riiiiight.

If...*if* you were to believe that Trump's run is a big ploy to get Clinton elected and it constituted a rigged primary, that still wouldn't mean both sides do it. That would just mean the democrats rigged both primaries.

Well said, that would have indeed been a much better response...we so need someone like him only with thicker skin and more smarts to not insult everyone all the time. Damit... damit all to hell!
