Per Rotoworld:

Chip Kelly says the Eagles have already been offered a first-round pick for Sam Bradford.
Kelly said so twice at Wednesday's press conference justifying the team's trade for the No. 1 overall pick of the 2010 draft.

There's no real reason not to take him at face value, but perhaps Kelly is already trying to drum up a trade market. Kelly also lavished praise on Bradford, and hinted he'd be the team's Week 1 starter. The Eagles' quarterback situation could get more confusing before it gets clearer.

... anyone who offered a first for Bradford at this point in his career is a complete and total moron.

So if it was anyone, it was the Browns.

There is no way that is true. You take that 1st round pick and run if it is offered. Especially considering you take no cap hit for doing it.

Agreed!

There have been rumors that Kelly wanted to move his entire draft to go up and get Mariota. You're telling me you couldn't go get YOUR QB with two first round picks?

No way in hell this has any validity. I can't even figure out why St. Louis got picks back in the trade on top of Nick Foles.

I would take Nick Foles ANY day of the week, especially on Sunday, over Sam Bradford. That guy was damaged goods before he left college, and the damage is getting worse every season.

Hell, I would want Johnny Manziel or Tim Tebow over Bradford. I don't need a two weeks starter, I need someone not made of glass. I think Danny Amendola is more durable that that dude.

I don't think too much of Foles. Bradford has a lot more talent but has had some injury problems in the past 2 years. Given their salary I think I would go with Foles but by no means would I want to depend on him to be my starter.

I honestly don't trust any QB that has been successful in Philly. They seem to do well there but when they leave they become bad.

Vick, Kolb, McNabb...

Even Sanchez did well last year. Idk, I just don't trust it. It's like the St. Louis Cardinals and bringing in washed up vets and all of a sudden they are great, then leave and are shit.

But, Bradford has been shit since before he was drafted. Won a Heisman, and then both arms fell off and were stuck back on with Elmer's White Glue?.

I wouldn't trust that guy to hold my clipboard for fear he might break his wrist next, or tear another ACL while bringing it to me.

Either Chip Kelly is trying to blow sunshine up a lot of asses, or he's secretly working for Jerry Jones with the intent of destroying the Eagles. Lots of WTF in Philly.

IMO most of that was Andy Reid...he could coach 'em up to his system, then they turned to shit when signed to a different system.

They basically lost Shady McCoy and Jeremy Maclin for Kiko Alanso and Sam Bradford.

HMMMMMMMMM.......we'll see if Chip is as smart as he thinks he is.
