jan 1 was good for travel plans but these later dates mean more days off at time i can it take time off

One reason why I watch UM and no one else. You get all your games on Jan 1, kids have next day off and most adults do. Now its stretched out a week, usually on a week day so my son can't watch, 9pm bedtime and people who work early in the am are screwed too.

I don't like it either but I understand when it's the bigger BCS bowl games. What I don't understand is why Central Michigan was playing Troy in the Aunt Jemima Bowl??? on Jan 6th last year. Knock that shit off.

I don't. I lose interest by the 8th of January. I like when it was one big fkn football day.

Funny this tread showed up, I was contemplating this very issue today.

I can understand the BCS bowls not being on the same day, spread them out for ratings. But no need to stretch the bowl season out to the middle of January.

bwls were great for fans during holiday bresk
at mich classes begin right after the first so you can miss seceral daysof class
as worjer getting the time off right after you had a week off is a bittough

again about tv but not for the average fans who might want to travel

they can concentrate it over 10 days

it shoukd not expand even to jan 5

it was about the holdays and relaxingp
