Your team knowingly recruited rapists and criminals who belonged in prison, enabled them, and covered up for them when they continued to rape and abuse your own students & daughters.

Also according to one of my Texan colleagues, the three big Texas private Christian schools (Baylor, TCU, and SMU) are all full of rich overprivileged kids... these aren't humble small town, hard working kids who can't get a break. they're some of the biggest pricks on the planet

Herman, that's not crazy, that's Texas football for the last 3+ years. McElwain seems like a really dumb good ol' boy.

they should've stuck with Muschamp. granted, he has struggled as an HC, other than one good season w/UF, but his teams were solid defensively. Florida's AD should've helped him bring in a better OC.

now, instead of just sucking on offense, they suck on defense too.
 
Baylor students/fans online had a remarkable "this sucks, but what can we do about it?" attitude. When the administration was obviously covering their tracks with the oral report from the investigation and all that, there was little to no protest. I fully expect there to be a contingent that never leaves the denial phase (thinking about Penn State there), but the ones that do move on from denial should have a desire and will to hold the guilty accountable. I didn't see much of that in the (admittedly tiny) sample of Baylor reactions I saw. The only non-defeatist anger I saw was from someone who personally knew someone affected.


So, fuck Baylor.
 
Baylor will probably slip back into irrelevance, but it might also luck out because Texas sucks so bad. The new coach at OU really stepped into a nice deal. He has the pick of the litter in Texas, so it seems.

I was one of those guys. I thought because of how Bama's offense clicked and their execution, he would bring that here................soooo wrong.

I was too. I think we all were.

In hindsight though, Bama's success can really only be used as endorsement of: 1) Nick Saban, and 2) the Alabama "bag men" who make sure he lands the recruits. because of those two things, everyone else on the staff's job is pretty simple, I think.

has any other Saban assitant done anything impressive when they get outside "the system?"

checking the wikipedia list... the best is Jimbo Fisher, who I guess is "legit" by SEC/ACC ethical standards. Kirby Smart, Will Muschamp, and Jim McElwain seem like career second-tier guys. and we all know about Lane Kiffin. haven't ever heard of the other names on the list.

They try to give him credit for Jason Garrett of the Cowboys, but come on.
