I would feel better about the ND game.

If Stonum was Going to play. Anyone else feel that way? If Brady Hoke had the same scruples as Brian Kelly, Stonum would be out there. I guess that's a good thing.
Go Blue.

Only if he gets a court ordered mouth guard that tests alcohol levels in his saliva.

I'm probably being silly, but I'm not really missing Stonum. Maybe I will eventually, but It just seems to be the right thing was done and that is that. Michigan will make do with the players that they have and they have quite a few receivers that are able to step up. I guess I miss him more in the return game, but am hoping that other teams don't score enough points for that to matter enough or that someone else steps up.

Hopefully DS learns from his mistake and uses this red shirt year to get right. he could be really good next year when he is a year stronger.. Still it would be nice to have him now..

that's the thing... I don't know how much of a difference Stonum would make. It's not obvious like suspending Braylon Edward's in '04 would have been. Roundtree/Hemingway had good years, and all the guys in the slot are solid.

It's not like Stonum isn't helping at all; he's playing Floyd for the defense this week.

As great as it would be to have another option, they're doing the right thing in this case. First and foremost, the kid needs to get his act together as a human being. He's lucky he didn't kill himself or anyone else, and he needs to realize that before he worries about football.

Is Notre Dame still a 4 point favorite? I know the line was going down, because people were betting on Michigan to cover.

yes to OP
we know our defense is still got issues and we need th eoffense to step up - didn't get a chance to really work things out last week with one quarter short
