But But But if the rich sickos that own and operate those plants can't threaten those workers with arrest and deportation, they might organize to improve their labor conditions, or sue over them, and then those rich sickos will lose some of the money they worked so hard to hoard.

Neither of you get it. If you want wages to go up in America, don't import labor that will work so cheap and in such horrific conditions. There's more than one guilty party here, neither side is innocent. It's illegal to hire someone who can't legally work in the US. Investigate, arrest and punish the people who broke the law, that includes the employers.

I prefer the McChicken but don't eat either anymore and I'm against the practice of hiring illegals aliens for cheap labor. What Durbin and you both miss and what you are both lying about is that these people are not immigrants. Get it? Not immigrants. They did not immigrate. They are illegal migrants. Be honest about it.

Having said that, I?m totally ok with a legitimate and well managed guest worker program. If we need workers bring them in above board. Don?t sneak them in. Don?t traffic them in. Don?t allow them to crash the border. Why are you ok with that?

So I guess I'm not surprised that he is equally lukewarm on illegal immigrants risking life and limb to slash and grind poultry.

in another thread, mc wrote about how a bunch of states were trying to pass laws that would make it legal for citizens to run over and kill protesters (no really, he did), so if thats what this guy did and he lives in one of the states that successfully passed a law like that, he could be ok - especially since he didnt kill anyone and only 5 people received non-life threatening injuries, probably from the pepper spray. A truck that big, and ZERO deaths - those Rhode Island protesters dont seem very committed to me.
