He has way more upside with the bat and plays just as good defense. If they were to trade porcello, I wouldnt mind getting Maybin and Street back.

Get StartedHow on earth does Maybin have more upside?
I must be stupid, so someone needs to explain this to me.

He has positive trends in a few areas, namely a dramatically decreasing K% over the last several years. He's also got a frame that could still develop some increased power as he isn't at his age power peak yet. None of that means he'll get there but he certainly has some potential for improvement.
Just trade for Stanton already.
Cameron Maybin's base running pretty much negates any defensive superiority bourjos has over maybin (which would be negligible at best on the tigers due to either one playing lf instead of cf.) Maybin provides exactly what the tigers need ( a right handed bat that plays above average defense with speed on the base paths and a little pop). Bourjos, despite his great speed for of defense, does not translate well on the base paths, even on a freewheeling team like the angels.

Stanton is going to be a Ranger if he is traded.
. How many posts will it take for someone to realize they have been owned by rebbiv?
We all agree. Its only been one person who thinks Maybin is anything. Maybe you should read the thread first.
