If the Tigers win the WS does leyland

hell no, they are gonna be good for a while, and with Maggs and Guillens $ coming off the books, they'll be able to go out and get a quality 2b if there is any, or maybe another quality starter.

Nope, he might want to try to match Sparky and become only the second manager in MLB history with not only WS wins in both leagues, but also having consecutive WS wins with one team as well, like Sparky did in '75-'76 with the Reds, but was unable to do in '85 with the Tigers, who I truly thought were gonna have a mini-dynasty going on after their dominant '84 regular season and postseason...oh well...that obviously didn't happen.

LaRussa came very close with 3 consecutive AL pennants with the A's in '88-'90, but only won the WS while managing them in '89.

But mums the word, don't tell Leyland, he may not know that yet...heh!!

Ya i was just thinking maybe he would think of retiring on top after a world series win.

after the way he was bitching earlier in the year about not getting extended, he better not...

P.S. looks like the eat em up tigers guys in your bottom GIF has a nasty case of gangrene...

If we won the WS I wouldn't care if he got a 10 year contract.
