Damn.

though this will be good news to the people worried about roster space and scholarships available

I don't think this is good news at all

I think we were hoping Ignas and Jordan would stay and that a couple others would decide to transfer to a lower tier school for more PT

I'd much rather have both come back next season.

Weird that they would definitely be gone without saying anything yet, though

Neither is projected to be drafted at all

I wouldn't be surprised to see both enter their names without getting an agent, so they have the option of coming back. I mean, why not? You get evaluated by the NBA scouts and given a draft grade and told what you need to work on. That's a no brainer.

According to espn iggy hired a agent and will go to the NBA even thought he is projected at number 48.

If neither is projected to be drafted, what you followed up with about being evaluated without an agent makes the most sense.

Neither are gone yet. You are allowed to hire an agent for feedback now. The rules have changed.

Everyone calm their tits.

as per the article I posted

A player can enter the draft, hire an agent and still come back to school, even go through the draft and if undrafted, return to school

so they may or may not be gone...

Matthews has done the same, as expected.

Under newly adopted NCAA rules, college players are allowed to retain the services of an agent during the evaluation process. If they choose to return to school, they must end the relationship with the agent and they will not lose any eligibility. Additionally, players can also now return to school after going undrafted without losing eligibility, but only if they have participated in the NBA combine.

funny quote from Ignas in that article

"For as long as I can remember, I've dreamed of being a player in the NBA"

You're 19. That isn't that long.

I didn't know these rules are already in place.

Poole

"I've wanted to be in the NBA since I was young"

LOL

These guys crack me up

Yes I saw that in the article? So I guess we?ll see.

While they both have great talent, they both play out of control quite a bit.

I wouldn?t be that surprised if nobody wants to take a chance on them this time around.

I really wanted to see Iggy play another season. He would have been a beast. I have mixed feelings about Poole.

I'm looking forward to the next 4 weeks of random speculation with no sources on the futures of these three guys.

I've read that various "insiders" say that all 3 are gone.

Well, if Michigan just signs three great recruits that want to play for Michigan next season, they?ll be gone because the door will be closed on them.
