After the OSU loss (actually starting during the 4th Q)... this was me:

then after watching Poole sink that reverse, spin-move lay up against UNC, I was like this:

...but then I remembered why I was sad in the first place, and went back to feeling this:

that's pretty much where I've been since then, whenever I think about sports.

Yep. Btw Poole is fucking balling! Hard to rinse out the osu loss though. Bad taste.

I’m kind of only bummed now whenever the subject of college football comes up.

The wife and I were watching the news within the last week and there was a report on the recent Heisman award, and she asked me “did they already have the Heisman award? Don’t we usually watch that?”

And I answered “yeah but this year I’m too bummed out about the OSU game still-I don’t walk around bummed out all the time-I’m just bummed out whenever anything about college football comes up.”

Very excited and optimistic about Michigan basketball this year though.

Happy about the basketball team though I'm looking forward to Michigan baseball.

In a long string of disappointing ends to the season, this one hurts the most because I feel the talent gap vs OSU isn't nearly as great as that score would suggest. I feel the coaching really let them down.

I try not to think about it, but when I do I'm like "damn....Damn it...Damn it all..Damn IT.....DAMN IT!..DAMN IT!!!" and then feel sick to my stomach. What happened to the fricken defense?

Which osu loss are we talking about ? They all still hurt sadly in my mind. So many chances at winning a few of those games. ( just not the last one). For Harbugh and his staff to have such a poor game plan and not to adjust on the fly just makes no sense. Michigan has 3 great wide reciivers. I just don’t get it .. plus crossing patterns. Wtf film did Brown not study any film for Osu. Oh well now I, pissed again lol.

Go Hoops !! Go jb find that 3 star kid who really is a 5 star!
Go Poole! It’s a pool party in Crisler!!!

It barely registers that Urban is gone. You'd think it would be a thing that would get a response, but it's like the food on that plate. Nothing football related has any flavor right now.

Consider the hoops team hot sauce then. Or bacon - it makes everything better.

I honestly don't give a fuck ...but maybe that's just the anti-depressants talking.

I'm with Vic. If it wasn't for the EMO mf'r's that I read posts from and talk to in my day to day life, I'd be fine. It took me about 3 days to move on.

get over it, losers

Like I said, when I am ignoring college football I’m fine too.

Although now that we have our bowl pick’ems game back again, I would imagine I will at least pay attention to the outcomes of the games.

Hey that starts tomorrow already too!

Easy, Vic's got anti-depressants! I've only got beer (and not even that much. There are 3 beers in the fridge now, so I've had 9 beers since the game.)

What I'm doing isn't emo though. I know I choose to be this invested and I believe it stems from my optimistic view that it will pay off to be like this in the future.

3 of the last 11 versus Michigan Agricultural College. 1 of the last 14 versus Ohio State. This is sub-standard. This is Michigan-versus-Purdue- or Indiana-like in lopsidedness, respectively. This will not stand, to quote an American president, recently deceased.

Does Hamilton even know how to use Black yet? Maybe some spread concepts down 15 late third quarter lol. Dpj came to play. Collins came to play. Hell Bell had some catches. We keep seeing tight end sets after tight end sets. Michigan has plenty of wide receiver talent.

Just give up. Embrace the mediocrity of the football program.
