Indians go 18-1 against Detroit

That march had nothing to do with Millen getting fired. Plus baseball not as popular so you'd have less people.

My reply was to what Tigers fans could do, and protesting Ilitch's extension of Avila as GM is and will still be an option available to them.

Three-time MVP baseball player Bobby Rayburn joins the San Francisco Giants, and an obsessive fan, whose profession is selling hunting knives, Gil Renard is excited over that. But Rayburn plays the worst season of his career and Renard tries to do everything to help him, but goes too far.

Isn't that a movie with what's his face and the Italian guy?

Sure they could do it. It won't help but they could do it.

You sound like me trying to remember a movie actor's name, "old what's his face". Mitch you're too young for a senior moment.
Robert De Niro and Wesley Snipes. and Benicio Del Toro.

Sad state of affairs for the Detroit Tigers since Mike passed away. But let's make it a little bit worse.

Fact is, the Indians did not so much go 18-1 vs the Tigers ..as the Tigers went 1-18 against the Indians.

In other words, the Indians did not do whatever it takes to win all 18 games ..as much as the Tigers did whatever they needed to do to lose those 18 games!

I cannot blame Al Avila for the losing. He's just trying to do a job that he was hired for. When it gets this bad, the losing at such a horrible percentage goes far beyond the GM ..it truly reflects upon the owner. Indeed, there seems to be a culture of losing that may only be changed by Chris Ilitch.

However, with that said, I can only hope Chris Ilitch is sincere when he says his vision has been to create a winning culture that lasts for several decades rather than for just one decade.
