Yeah Bob, so is Magglio. I put a post on it in the alds roster announced.
Leyland going with the lefty/righty thing vs. cc

Pretty standard lineup against a lefty. Inge went 3-5 with a double against CC this year. No reason for outrage.

Inge is 11 for 58 verses CC for a robust .190/.299/.259/.557 15 k's 7 walks 1 homer and 3 rbi's... So no I am not excite over Inge playing....

I perfer Inge over raburn though as long as Santiago is playing second for defense... Raburn at second base scares me...

Wilson B. has only face CC 5 times and gotten three hits... I guess it depends where you want your bad defense... 2nd or 3rd...

I agree to a point. It's just that even with Raburn hitting better the past 2 months as usual, his defense is abysmal.

I know everyone doesn't agree 100% on most anything, so there are some who won't mind Raburn at 2B tonight.

Ryan, if you read this, "don't fuck up a play with JV pitching and with the stakes this high". lol

But seriously, the Tigers defense as a whole isn't that good outside of Jackson.

I cringe knowing a ball will be hit to Raburn at second base...I sure hope we hit tonight...

I would think we have enough bats without Raburn, that we don't need him to give runs back to them playing 2b. just my .02.

yeah I Perfer Santiago at second.... He can bunt decent in a pinch when you want to move runners along and his defense is light years ahead of Raburns... I know that is not saying much because Ryan has to be one if not the worse 2nd basemen in the AL..

You can all complain all you want and than say how right you are if we lose, but this is the same line-up we have been putting out there all month afainst LHP, and winning with, why would you change it now?

personally im ok w/ Maggs and Raburn in the lineup tonight, while both are shaky at best in the field, both can stick. but jimmy, Inge? say it aint so. Betemit, even with his fair share of K's is killing the ball when he puts it in play....

Isn't Betemit still trying to shake an injury?

Yeah your better off with Wilson B. at third and .260 hitter R. Santiago at second, and having raburn and Inge coming off then bench..

Not that I know of. He looked fine on that 430 bomb he hit the other night.... i could be wrong though

just don't tell me Raburn is hitting 2nd, my ♥ just can't take it anymore.

Leyland needs to go. I don't care that we won the division, 75% of teams in the MLB could have won the ALC. He just looks good because we played shit teams most of the year and a bunch of our players had career years.

Leyland will get all the credit, but it's DD who should get it, he's the one who put this team together.

Absolutely, until DD traded for Fister, Betemit, and Young, the Tigers were in a battle for the division title even though it was being handed to them.
