K. Smith, Houston, and Fairley return to practice today (per Birkett and Twentyman twitter). Berry, Delmas, Durant, Wright, and Jackson out.

Not that worried about Wright since he was able to go back in at the end of the game. Let's hope they can continue to practice and play this weekend. Having Houston, Wright, and Carlton at CB works for me and adding Fairley and Suh back in should help increase the pressure.

Let's hope Kevin can play more than 2-3 snaps this weekend.

It'd be nice to get Jackson back, he is one of our best run stoppers on the line.

Anybody else thinking the Lions are going play like a rejuvenated team down the stretch? I have a feeling they are going to play lights out this weekend.

Im hoping this team can start putting healthy bodies in the lineup watching the bench and some new people play on sunday was painful. If this team can get and stay healthy they can make some noise.

As long as the Raiders didn't watch the 2nd half of the Minnesota game and comes out Sunday with Terrelle Pryorl...

Yeah really.

"Pryor, you're going in"

"Who me, I haven't even practiced"

"It's the Lion's Just look like you're passing the ball and run down the sideline"

I thought Schwartz was going to just murder the D-Line when they showed him cussing them out after his long TD run...

That sucked to see in person, to see the play develop with nobody even close to him. It also came after I just told my brother "They're going to make him throw on 3rd and long, we pretty much have the ball back"

That would suck, dont say that.

Nick Fairley, Lions safety Louis Delmas (knee), cornerback Aaron Berry (shoulder), linebacker Justin Durant (hamstring), defensive end Lawrence Jackson (thigh) and cornerback Eric Wright (hamstring) also did not participate in Thursday's practice.

Detroit cornerback Chris Houston (knee), safety Amari Spievey (knee) and defensive end Willie Young (ankle) were limited, while guard Rob Sims (shoulder) fully participated.

Our injuries are the only ones that count. No other team in the league has lost starters.

;)

lawrence jackson, eric wright and justin durant also practiced on friday...

also kevin smith,.

ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions received an early holiday gift when defensive end Lawrence Jackson returned to practice on Friday.

Lawrence injured his thigh against Chicago on November 13 has missed Detroit's past four games. Friday marked the first time Lawrence practiced since sustaining his injury.

Jackson went through individual and team drills without any hesitation.

Detroit will release Jackson's official game status later this afternoon.

In addition, linebacker Justin Durant (hamstring), running back Kevin Smith (ankle) and cornerback Eric Wright (hamstring) were participating in the portion of practice media members were allowed to watch. All went through team and individual drills.

Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley (ankle) and safety Louis Delmas (knee) stretched with the team, but did not participate in the first 30 minutes of practice. Fairley was on the sidelines working with a trainer with defensive end Willie Young (ankle), who was not participating in any drills.

Meanwhile, cornerback Aaron Berry was on the sidelines and not participating in practice.

Aaron Berry is shit anyways. I mean, he's an upgrade from fucking Rashied Davis playing CB, but outside that...

I think Alphonso Smith has made more plays for us - not just last week either.

He's a Faaaaaaaaaaaaaar cry from his partner at Pitt

now they are saying delmas also did some stuff on the sideline...but probably won't play this weekend...regardless...pretty much everyone but berry and fairley are getting healthier....unless they rush people back to quickly...that would suck
