Rather than making a separate thread for this. I've decided to put them all in one thread

KJ Hamler declared from Penn State

JK Dobbins declared from Ohio State

Cornerback Jeff Okudah has declared from Ohio State

kind of funny...on the Lions board all three of these guys are mentioned as possible picks in rounds 1-3

Whose dad is a prisoner?

Whose mother considered abortion?

Who caused a dude in the media to have multiple orgasms?

I can tell you're going to be fun to be around for a while

Might want to consider taking a break
Honestly, it's an obscure reference. Watch the documentary Stevie (Amazon Prime). It's by the same guy that did Hoop Dreams.

There's a scene with them fishing and the way the guy says "it doesn't matter" is appropriate for comparison to the football program. It's just stuck in my head.

Washington

The head coach quit

The OC took a new job

Jacob Eason, starting QB, has entered the draft

Salvon Ahmed, their leading rusher, has now entered the draft

They lose 3 starting OL to graduation

They lose their leading receiver to graduation

No surprise here:

Wisconsin RB Jonathan Taylor has declared for the NFL draft

I have a couple friends who've been freaking out about departures for next year; every other day over the last week, I'll check my phone and have like 22 missed texts of them arguing over whether someone going is a "huge loss" or not.

I keep telling them it still seems like we're in better shape than our opponents for next year, although, yeah, if there's as big of a talent gap as there seems to be between us and OSU, we're still not going to overcome that in a year. On top of all the cheating OSU does.

Yep. Washington, Wisconsin, and Penn State just lost their top weapon(s)

Ohio State is losing a lot, but they have talent waiting on the bench.

Other than the Washington stuff, I've only detailed early departures from other teams on the schedule next season. I'm not really sure who loses who to graduation.

i don't think we have to worry about anyone else on the schedule next year, besides the teams you mentioned

The @MN game could pose a problem. I don't know who they are losing/bringing back, though. I'm sure the Michigan game will be their super bowl next season.
