Is this season over?

It's a day before the Seattle game. Please, for the board and for our sanity, give this crap a rest. Lions got calls against, but also got some massively good ones in their favor.

If it wasn't for the refs on the last drive against the Bears, Lions would have likely lost. Refs gifted the Lions that game.

It all evens out. Let's move on.

Not ref errors in our favor. Name one. I named several against Detroit and most of them are huge PI calls that can greatly change a game. Specific examples. A ref mistake where they called it on the other team. They call penalties on the other team (yes those are even), because the other team commit penalties or the Lions do something good like pass rush and force a hold for instance. But they never give the Lions penalties called on the other team that were incorrect. It only goes one way, a bad way.

And moving on since I know you can't give me specific examples (because I've already check and there are none),

Lions find their pass rush this week and beat Seattle.

People have been trumpeting about the Seattle secondary all week but imo their biggest weakness is their O-Line. I have little doubt the Lions will get a pass rush going (finally), what I'm concerned about is containment on Wilson. Hopefully getting gashed by Rodgers was a good warm up and they're prepared for it this time.

Wilson is actually having a down year scrambling. 3.6 YPC. Rawls is struggling and Prosise is still hurt. They shouldn't be able to run either but Lions need to have a good game in run defense.

LBs and safeties need to be on points against Graham. We'll see if Slay follows Baldwin.

Fine. Lions are constantly screwed by refs. They would have won 16 games if it wasn't for bad officiating.

Give it a freaking rest.

11 to 12 games. 16 is just crazy talk and shows you arent comprehending my examples i give

They would've won 11-12 if the Lions would've played better. Can't leave every game up to a bad call blowing the game for you. That's the problem more than officiating. Not leaving it up to the refs might've won us a playoff game against Dallas 2 years ago. Relying on refs to make proper calls for 60 minutes to win, is asking to lose.

Yeah he's got no hope other than just agreeing with him so we can move on to the next subject.

Whatever happens Saturday night, there are many here who do Not want to read about any flukes. Also, the few guys here who just started to agree with lkp, I am asking each of you also, no pouring of gasoline and igniting it.

It is really a sad state of affairs, that a handful of good posters want to do this to each other.
and, Please, no pointing fingers at the other side, this means post game.
lets just hope for the best with the Lions - Seahawks game.

It was more than one call. Egregious holding all second half by the Cowboys and the PI picked up. Lions shouldn't have to win by 14 just to win a game by 3-7. The NFL is tightly contested in many games. A blown DPI can certainly affect a game. DPI and OPI need to be able to be challenge IMO. They are took big of swings.

Lions need to show up with a pass rush and force at least one turnover on Saturday.

Kaline, I'm just agreeing with him because there's just nothing to arguing anymore. He'll never be wrong and nothing is ever the fault of the Lions, so it's worthless to go further.

I would always root for the Lions to win. Always have.

I understand what you and the others were doing.

What I see that is upsetting too many, are the excuses that are always put out here, when most everyone knows there are times the Lions also catch a break on a bad call from the refs.
All those excuses game after game can become painful to the eyes of most everyone.
There comes a point in time that the finger needs to pointed directly to the Lions. Only excuse(s) should be injury to a key player(maker) which has happened. Team has played 3 consecutive games vs. playoff teams 2 on the road. Got to see how they stack up against them, we did, and they fall short this year.

Just sick of hearing excuses each and every time we lose. Every time he trolls a football conversation turns into an argument. We see the bs calls just like he does, but accept that its part of the game, and if the Lions were a better team they'd make the call not have an impact. I just dont believe in excuses. Shouldve done more, thats how ive always looked at things if i come up short.

I provide real life examples. Nobody has given one example where a ref made an error and benefitted the lions. All 122 calls the refs made against lions opponents were correct. Most of the 118 called on detroit were correct but a few were not. The refs also missed some others on opponents. In a tight nfl, this can impact a game

Show me a ref error, that benefitted the lions. They shouldnt have to win by 14 to win a game by 3 points. Ref errors are not even or balance out

I agree.

Also, that continues when someone does argue it, to continue the BS.
