Here It Comes – The Warnings About A “Civil War In America” Are Becoming Much Louder

Civil conflict is coming to America, and it is going to tear our nation apart. Earlier today I received an email from a good friend about the rising tide of anger and frustration that we are currently witnessing in America. After thinking about it for a few moments, I wrote back and told him that I don’t know if there is any way to stop what is coming at this point. In my entire lifetime, we have never been closer to a “civil war” in this country than we are right now. Let us work for peace, but it would be foolish to ignore the forces that are ripping the fabric of our society to shreds. In this day and age, the coming conflict will not be between two armies from specific geographical locations. Rather, it will be between groups of Americans with fundamentally different ideologies. However, just like in our first civil war, American cities will burn before it is all said and done. First there will be massive protests, then there will be widespread violence, and ultimately there will be mobs of lunatics running around smashing things, looting, stealing, killing and setting things on fire.

SO... consequently I don't give a fuck about people responding to them in kind.

they're all garbage. complete human refuse.

Trump himself has repeatedly threatened to sick his retarded supporters on other people, and made thinly veiled threats of violence.

If we expected/demanded civility of our politicians, he couldn't have won. I don't know how you get other people to be civil, but joining them where they are at gives them justification to stay there and go further. I kind of expect this Huckabee Sanders getting kicked out of a restaurant thing to be used to justify more of the same on the right now. Yes, it existed before, but now there's an excuse. Between that and the misreading of the SCOTUS cake baker case, seems like some people are going to think that's how it is now.

Some more from the left:

Chicago Bar Bans 'Make America Great Again' Hats

?After much consternation and consideration and to maintain a ?classy environment?, Replay Lincoln Park has implemented a new and strictly enforced dress code,? the post read

this is an arcade bar in a yuppie neighborhood in Chicago that went heavily blue in 2016. So though few - if any - Trump lovers would ever hang out there, or even live within an easy trip to the joint, they will spam their yelp page with 1-star reviews, call & threaten them, tweet at them etc., because they have nothing better to do than "own the libs" and that gives their existence meaning.

FWIW though... sounds like the owner's post was a joke. or at least mostly a joke, and he said he also banned face tattoos to keep standards up, and anyone wearing a MAGA hat would be subject to "extreme vetting" and "separated from their children."

my son has some trump bumpers stickers that I told him NOT to put on his car, he understands what I'm saying and just keeps them in his room

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIG01Lojr-k

He doesn't understand the made in 1776 sticker though, keep asking him and his friends if they'd like a made in 1776 sticker and they look at me funny and say what does that even mean!?

it is kinda over the top.

I mean, let's be honest here... the typical Trump fan doesn't actually know jack shit about history, the Revolutionary War, Declaration of Indepdence or even the US Constitution, etc.

I mean, shit, Trump just demanded we do away with the due process of law and let ICE deport whoever they want, with no trial, not even a hearing.

and that's OK. Not everyone needs to be a historian. But it just makes them look ridiculous when they try to explain why voting for Trump - a career fraud and snake oil salesman - is in any way consistent with the principles laid down in the Declaration of Independence.

America first mich chump, not that complicated, Americanism over globalism. Hey if they aren't here legally I have no problem with that. get in line and follow the rule of law. The best thing we could do to help solve this problem would be to end the failed war on drugs and legalize it all, take the money out of the hands of the gangs and let their countries start to heal so they can make their own countries great again.

I mean the guy just called for us to do away with the due process of law in immigration matters... he wants ICE to be able to deport whoever they want without so much as a hearing before a judge.

"Made in 1776" my ass!

okay, yes, we should enforce constitutional immigration laws. yeah, but that word... "legally."

See there is this thing called "due process of law" that helps you get there and ensures you're not deporting people that are legal residents.

without due process, the definition of what's legal, is wholly subjective, arbitrary, and subject to abuse by the authorities, be they a local sheriff, a governor, president, or King Of England, which is kinda the whole point of 1776.

so the folks that just crossed in the ABC clip might be here legally and should get due process? I don't understand what you're getting at.

He's advocating AT the border. https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/tru...nted-immigrants-due-process/story?id=56142083

I disagree with his second tweet about the wall, the only real solution is to end the war on drugs.

yes,
everyone gets due process. that's the point.

border patrol agents don't get to be judge, jury, and executioner.

if they're on camera crossing the border illegally it should be a quick hearing.

What does mean exactly? Is there a certain range where due process can be ignored or do we have to catch people as they cross places where the border is clearly marked?

Man, it would be way easier to catch them in the act if there was a big wall...

the ABC clip would be a pretty clear-cut and dry example.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/25/us/politics/due-process-undocumented-immigrants.html

Do undocumented immigrants have a right to due process?

Yes. Courts have consistently held that anyone on United States soil is protected by the Constitution’s right to due process, even if they illegally entered the country, though people generally have greater legal protections inside the country than at the border.

How much process is deemed to be “due” depends on the situation. Courts have upheld that people who entered the United States illegally and were ordered deported have a right to appeal those decisions. But the courts have also essentially said that Congress can decide that more limited procedures are sufficient for noncitizens detained at the border.

So...use your best judgement based on what it looks like? No way that could be abused.

There is abuse in everything, there is no perfect system. I'll trust our border agents to determine that judgment and if caught abusing the system then fire them and charge them

The bigger it is, the longer you have to catch them in the act. Not like finding someone walking north a half-mile north of the border or that Canadian jogger that accidentally crossed. If you're on the wall and not on the ground, I think we have a clear indicator of your intentions to cross the border.

55 ft. Dang! 30 is something, but 55 would be really impressive.
