Now, before anyone gets all riled up....I realize this is a dream and in no way, shape or form do I think we land Ramsey.....but its just fun to think about. Like winning the lotto.

What would it take?

The Jags are going to want picks back in return. At LEAST 2 #1's.

Here is my offer.

Detroit Gets: Ramsey, DJ Chark (we need speed on the outside badly, always have)

Jags Get: Marvin Jones (for cap purposes), a 1st and 3rd in 2020 and a 1st in 2021

If that were the price.....would you do it?

That seems pretty steep...2 firsts and a 3rd? Plus, Ramsey is a FA after next season. If he wants out of Jacksonville why would he want to re-sign with Detroit? He probably wants to go to a winning organization...that's why he wants to get out of Jacksonville.

He wants out of Jacksonville because he hates the coaches and they?re asking him to play a lot more zone than he would like.

Money always talks. Why the fuck would Flowers want to go from the Pats to the D???

$$$$$

money talks...but every team would be interested in Ramsey. He can pretty much pick any team. Flowers is just a guy...Ramsey is elite

For arguably the best man to man cover CB in the league at the ripe age of 24? I'd bite, so long as a contract extension is worked out before the trade.

I would too. I would want Chark as a "throw in". He adds a needed element to this offense we simply dont have right now.

I will never understand the Lions insistence on NOT getting a downfield SPEED threat. Golladay and Jones are good 50/50 guys and Golladay adds an element of fear against slower corners......but the Lions need a deep threat.

First this year and a 2nd and 3rd next?

1 and a 3rd maybe...and wouldn?t have any problem throwing in Jones Jr and as long as they don?t end up top 10 for that 1 do it then hell throw in Agnew for free

I think if they were closer to winning some playoff games or a title maybe but not now.

Yeah.....we need OL more than we need another big time CB.....but adding a player like Ramsey gets ANY team closer to playoff W's and a Super Bowl.

I suppose to but OL is just terrible.

It is. Encouraged by Crosby yesterday. Decker always seemed like he would be a better fit at RT than LT. Maybe we'll get lucky and Crosby develops into a good LT and Decker a good RT.

Because, you know, things always work out well for the Detroit Lions!!

I'd do your trade idea for the two firsts but only if he agreed to an extension before the trade finalization. That is WAY to much to give a rental guy though and if he had no intention or didn't seem interested in resigning for more years, than fuckkkkk that not worth.

Slay and Ramsey would be SHUTDOWN defense. Put them both on an island 1 on 1 with the other teams best WR's and divvy the other WR TE and rb's with our LB's and Safeties.... No one would be throwing on us.

Oh, I would take Robbie Anderson from the Jets. Holy shit he would take this offense to the next level and he'd be a lot cheaper than Ramsey.

I think Anderson has superstar talent but he's on the Jets.....so........yeah.

Before the pick to end it Slay was not shutdown at all.

The numbers support what you said......but we had 1 sack in that game and very little pressure. That's why I wouldn't really support a Ramsey trade.....it would be AWESOME, don't get me wrong.....but our OL and DL need help. We need a true edge rusher with speed and another GOOD OL as well.

You can have a few highly paid superstars if you draft well......I think we're on the right track.....but we don't have enough impact players on their rookie deals to trade away draft picks.
