In a meeting on Friday. Glazer said Suh's Lions teammates "really went after him," and told him this kind of thing just has to stop.

Hope this will help the situation, since nothing else seems to have so far.

They should be on him because plays like that are very costly in the game. You can be a complete stud and a great guy off the field, but when you make dumb penalties at key times, your teammates are gonna get pissed.

it's the only report i give a shit about. i could give a rats ass about shannon sharpe going off on the kid's play and what his dumb ass thinks should happen. the important thing is his shit isn't flying in the locker room. if you think that is overblown and not important...then you're retarded. i like they play with that edge and shit...but most get the line. suh crossed it, he deserves what he gets (although if counseling is true, that's the best joke yet).

somehow I doubt that....he hurt the team in a playoff race...guaranteed KVB and possibly Tulloch got on him.

I understand that but I doubt they went all ape shit over him? Pissed off sure, stern talking to sure..

I hope the report was underblown. He needs his ass chewed out by his teammates; what else could possibly affect him? Analysts and tv personalities arent worth a damn because they just need a topic to milk dry, and he makes enough to absorb a monetary suspension. For the long run (and not just thinking about this year's playoffs) i wouldnt mind them overdoing the punishment.

Damn. The team goes from losers to a sore losing dirty team. Dirty is only ok when you're winning games.

Why, you really think he'll "change" because of a harsher punishment? I don't.

Williams was on record as saying he was going to have a talk with Suh and that he needs to knock that shit off.

Why wouldnt he change? The fines probably dont bother him one bit, but being forced to sit on the sideline and watch the game has to. IMHO the games missed will change his outlook on what he needs to change, and how his actions have hurt his team.

I expect him to not kick again. I don't see any player doing that twice but he's still going after the QB hard. I can't imagine Suh being less physical. That's what I meant.

I dont think anyone expects him to be less physical, thats his job, he just needs to know when to hit the switch.

He looks like a bonehead physical right now. Hopefully he'll turn it into a smart physical. They're probably gonna be baiting the hell outta him when he gets back. Hope he'll be ready.

I partially agree. But the fact is, he has put himself in a position that IF he does anything at all that is questionable....he has set himself up to be suspended for 6+ games. These punishments are only going to get worse for future infractions. The kick itself isn't what got him suspended....it's all the shit before PLUS the kick that lead to this.

So he could become less physical, knowing that even a questionable hit could lead to a worse punishment.

Just a stupid move on his part.

He's not getting 6 plus games for a late hit. He won't get any games for a late hit. Guys late hit all the time. Part of the game.

Dom sounds pissed about it, probably partially because he is an O-line men and takes (and sometimes gives) cheapshots while he is on the ground and we know dom is always on the ground :)

"I'm not talking about Suh," center Dominic Raiola said. "We can talk about the Saints, but I'm not talking about Suh.

"We have too much going on right now to talk about him."

Raiola said he was "not commenting on that" when asked if players in the locker room were angry at Suh.

"You talk to him if you want a comment about his situation," he said. "He knows what he did."

You don't think if Suh got a 2 or 3 late hits or roughing the passer calls his first couple games back they would suspend him further?

I do. He already got suspended for something other players wouldn't have been suspended for because of all his previous actions. He is one good blow to the head/ripping off a qb's helmet/ throwing an O-lineman to the ground after the whistle away from a suspension of more than 2 games.

That is certain.

So you suspend him on late hts because he's been in trouble but no suspensions for all the other players who have late hits? No I dnt. Now helmet to helmet maybe but a regular late hit, no chance.

He JUST GOT SUSPENDED for something other guys wouldnt have. Why wouldn't Goodell do the same with a couple personal foul calls?

Listen, I'm NOT suggesting that if he pushes a guy out of bounds late he's gone for 6 games. What I AM saying is that if he comes back and litters the field with yellow flags for personal fouls, late hits, throwing guys to the ground after the whistle like he did to ATL....that he will get a further suspension.

No doubt about it.
