Jeter out for the rest of the season

I thought for sure the Yankees were going to complete an amazing comeback to win a wild card spot and ultimately make the playoffs. Then Jeter would make a brave heroic return from injury to lead the Yankees through the playoffs.

Too bad ESPN's wet dream won't become reality.

I like Jeter, and the media crush on him aside, I feel bad he's going to go out this way.

180 of how Rivera is going to depart.

Eh...instead they have the dread sux "worst to first" saga to slap their collective monkeys with to the exclusion of mostly everything else, They also have frequently overflowed their drool cups over the dudgers' post-ASB winning record. Unfortunately for ESPN, trouser trout was unable to carry the angals to even a WC slot, so he was not pimped quite as much for MVP this season.
