I agree, I'm glad the Lions didn't wait. But the Browns have a different problem entirely. They've treated their coaches so badly that the word is out, people don't want to be there. They're going to have to take someone that is desperate for a head coaching job at this point.

losing what coaches? who has been hired since we hired Caldwell? no one but zimmer....who we didn't interview anyways.

I'm sure there were other reasons but that has to enter into it. That and they painted themselves into a corner by only looking at recently working former NFL HCs who primarily deal with the offensive side of the ball. Pretty short list.

I agree. The last sentence is what I wish hasn't happened. I wish they had open it up but waiting until after the super bowl might not have been better.

Lombardi was with mayhew at the senior bowl today....pretty dumb reason to jump the gun and hire a caldwell...but whatever.

I was obviously referring to when mitch said "hopefully he carries his grandfathers notes around."...most people would understand that considering I quoted it in my post. it was a joke and 2 people now have said something dumber than I did about the joke.
