Speaking of klatt on Twitter ..

tonight won't change my Top 10
1 #Buckeyes
2 #Bama
3 #Clemson
4 #GoBlue
5 #Sooners
6 #PennState
7 #OkState
8 #USC
9 #Huskies
10 #Stanford

So Stanford 62-7 win verses Rice was more impressive then Michigan's destruction of Florida.

Oklahoma, USC, UCLA, Texas, Tennessee, ND always overrated. Oklahoma is about to get their ass kicked by OSU and OSU will be cemented into the #1 spot for a few weeks until Oklahoma proves that they aren't that good...again.

I have to disagree with this one. I think Mayfield will take advantage of those small corners. One thing about OSU that is same as last year. You can pass all day on them if you have a respectable run. IU couldnt even run the ball and they still got 21.

I'm liking Oklahoma for this one.

I agree...I watched that OSU game and the defense didn't look very good. I'm betting the over and taking OK +7.5. My guess is the line will be below 7 before game time.

The thing I love about Klatt is that addresses the "SEC rules" bullshit straight on. Only SEC team in his Top 10 is Alabama and none of the other coattail programs. He is outspoken on Fox Sports and when interviewed and I love that he and Desmond punk the ESPN/SEC homers.

As for OU vs OSU ...the buckeye defense looks like shit and Barrett was wild. With Bob Stoops at the helm, I'd expect an underwhelming performance by the Sooners but after last year's ass-whipping, they have a HUGE chip on their shoulder.

I look forward to watching from Ann Arbor after the UCin game.

The problem is no team in the B12 plays good defense. They just try and outscore everyone. That plan may work as a conference but it hurts them when they go against a team with a good defense.

They held the mighty UTEP Miners to 167 yards!

Bob Stoops retired.

I believe he meant that if Stoops was still at the helm, we'd see an underwhelming performance from OU.

Yes, I said "with Stoops at the helm, I'd expect.." another big game Choke in Columbus ..

And OSU doesn't play defense either - they're very like the B12 programs in that way. Get the ball to the superfast track athlete and let him outrun the opposition. I think OU and Mayfield can put up some points for sure.

huh. surprised you guys think OU has a good shot to win this game.

from discussing the OSU-IU game w/friends last weekend, seems like OSU just physically dominated the Hoosiers once they committed to running it. they can at least run the ball well. Can OU stop that?

I guess OSU probably can't put up the same pts& yards next week if theyre 1-dimensional against OU, as they could against IU, but still: 1) it's OSU, 2) it's in Columbus, and 3) OU has more questions to answer than OSU does.

I expect OSU to win, if not easily, than at least comfortably, like by 10-14 pts

That's not how it went down. IU was up 21-20 with 4:56 left in the third. OSU scored on the first play of their next drive with a 74 yard TD pass. IU followed that up with a three and out. OSU then scores on a 59 yard TD pass on their next drive. IU goes three and out again. Their D steps up and forces OSU to punt after gaining 19 yards. Naturally, IU fumbles away their next possession and gives the ball to OSU on the 11 yard line. One pass later and it's another OSU TD.

Classic Meyer O. Not much to it ...Rich Rod like fake and if the super star athlete is wide open and in space ...no Hoosier is going to catch them!

OU has much better team speed/talent than IU.

I expect a shootout and a motivated OU squad. should osu smoke them, more power to them and proof OU is - once again - overrated based on program rep rather than current roster.
