Lacey suffered concussion in Philly

I've been putting it off long enough, I'm trying out. I might be slow but I have other measurable's, I'm tall and strong.

dude, right now if you can walk unaided onto the field, the starting job is yours. no need to run, have hands or even arms, and if you don't have a brain that would actually be a benefit since that way it is impossible for you to get a concussion. :D

i'd b ok with smith coming in for at least the bear game. at least he knows the d. greenwood is way too green imo, but at least he's an athletic body they can throw out there now and then. i'm sure he's been studying while recovering so it would be good for him to get a few plays in.

just not many options available it seems.

Bentley is doubtful. Lacey is out. Green and Smith. That sucks. Hester and Bennett should have good days unless we get a ton of pressure

We need a big offensive production. 420 and 4 TD's from Stafford. And no ST mistakes.

The 420 yards is possible. Stafford has decided not to throw TDs this year though, so..

I don't think its his decision more than the 7 guys draped all over Calvin.

That happened last year too. This isn't the first year Calvin has been doubled or tripled on occasion. Stafford still threw 25 TDS to people not named Calvin. Redzone offense everyone needs to step it up.

When I watch, it seems much worse than last year. And the last sentence you said it, and Staff is just one person. If you're not open or drop a pass, cough Petti cough, not much Staff can do.

And the fact they're trying to run it more, a big no no.

Time to plug in Broyles and see what he can do imo. The excuse for Titus is that he has been injured, and still Broyles sees no playing time. At this point it cant get any worse, so why not put this kid to work? Still not ready, or just not impressing the coaches enough to make a push for a starting spot?

Maybe Broyles is still injured. Not like he's coming back from a boo boo on his knee. And why is it an excuse? Titus was pretty awesome last season, you just don't stop knowing how to play football.

Broyles looked pretty good in his pro day SEVEN months ago. Has there been a major setback that I obviously didnt hear about? Titus did look promising in spots last year. Now I find myself questioning what the point of drafting a scrawny #2 WR was.

He's been running around but they were holding him back from contact. He should be good to go now. To me titus looks scared, afraid to attack the ball and just watches the play happen around him. Maybe having a kid gave him something to live for.

They said they would bring him along slow. Doing a pro day workout isn't the same as being smacked by a 240 pound LB.
