Not really.....

Just fun to get the wolver-weenies fired up on MSU vs. U of M day!!

I liked Jones coming out of Spartyville....for a 6th round pick he's done a good job

Giants were so desperate to upgrade over Jones they went out and got a guy who was a substitute teacher on Monday and was named the starter that same week. ;P

Culturally it's unacceptable.

Not to mention the vast majority of women would prefer being proposed to in a quiet, intimate setting. It is the ego males who attempt to put on some sort of extravegant affair, making a big show of "Hey, look what I'm doing!" Not to mention it puts TREMENDOUS pressure on the woman to say "Yes!". If one were to look at the number of engagements broken off by women, there is likely a very high percentage who were proposed to in this type of high pressured environment. Then there's the pressure to go through with the actual marriage, and then there's the 50% divorce rate. Not saying all divorces are due to this type of song and dance, but there is a percentage.

IMO, women deserve to be proposed to in a quiet, pressure free environment, such that if they feel it is best to not accept it, they can turn down the proposal without undue humiliation being placed upon either individual.

Dude was a 6th round pick. They had little to no training camp. He starts week one because of injuries.

It didn't work out. He didn't pick things up fast enough. But it's a little to early to label him a never was because of that.

I wonder what people were saying about Jerome Harrison after he got cut for the 4th or 5th time his rookie year??

Fact is, Jones became what teams probably expect for any 6th round LB. A solid special teamer who filled in as depth. Shit, most 6th rounders probably don't even last a year before they're out of football.

Zach Follett was a All Pro to alot of posters on the old board before his injury ;)

Crazy. Jones has a good chance to become a 5-8 year NFL'er. Might not ever be more than an Ashlee Palmer type. Good depth that has the talent to start a game or two. For a Spartan LB, J.Peterson is the exception, that's not half bad.
