Leshoure

N.O. had 3-4 backs getting touches in their offense. He will get some touches this year and we will see what he can do.

Without injuries......Riddick and LeShoure will see very few touches.

Bell and Bush are much better than Ingram/Thomas/Robinson/Sproles

The big difference we have Stafford not Brees. You're too stupid to realize Brees is much better..And their defense was much better. Were not Seattle and we're not NO.

They pass more with Bree's but still manage to get their third rb all those touches. You lost this argument

their top 3 RBs had a total of 433 touches. The Lions top 2 RBs had a total of 496 touches. Brees attempted 16 more passes than Stafford. The difference is Brees completed 68.6% and Stafford completed 58.5% of his passes....which is a HUGE difference! Brees is great and Matt is a little above average.

matt is average....and hes not great at anything:

not accuracy
not pocket presence
not making reads
not with turnovers
not with making players other than calvin better
not with winning
not with running
not with fundamentals
not great out of the pocket
not great moving within the pocket
...hes not great at anything

Id rather any extra touches go to Riddick....hes quick enough to make plays and more dynamic. If youre giving carries to leshorue why not just give the ball to bell?

Nobody is saying we're the fucking Saints and nobody is implying that Stafford is Brees. How fn stupid are you?

I don't know about that. There is a poster on this board that thinks the Lions defense is better than Seattle's.

That's his deal, bro lol. We all know the truth. The NFL is a copycat league and we're going to try and take full advantage of it.

58 years later we're going to copy cat a good team..score.

58 years later? I know you're too dumb to understand it, but it happens all the time. What don't you understand? Maybe i can help you?

They couldn't copy the Steelers of the 70's or the Niners of the Montana/Young years or NE?

But now they're going to copy cat someone..can we get their players to? Let's copy cat someone but then precede to draft a TE at 10..

And my post which you responded to was attempt at levity but you never seem to understand that..just like when we're talking about dropped passes in May..no one really gives a shit..it's just something to talk about you never seem to understand that. If it's not 100% positive you have a hissy fit..

That's where your idiocy shines. Ebron was drafted because the Lions want to mimmick the Saints offense. Lombardi brought the playbook over from NO. Happens all the time in the NFL. You don't get the pick....not surprised at all actually. My 2 yr old is smarter than you when it comes to football....pathetic.

They can try to mimic the Saints offense all they want. Still is not going to get them a super bowl. This team has no identity, leadership, or discipline. I think what the poster was getting at was identity... aka steel curtain. The Lions have a couple of pieces but they are like Swiss cheese. Their plans have always had too many holes in them. MAYHEW likes what he has in the secondary. .. problem is, so don't opposing offense' s

New regime. This team has leaders. Bush, Stafford, Suh and Calvin for starters. Caldwell is telling these guys they are accoubtable for their actions....unlike Schwartz. Getting rid of undisciplined players lke Delmas and W Young is another sign of moving forward. Stop talking out of your ass.

As for winning the SuperBowl? Ok, i'll agree they're not contenders, but they're getting better. Pretty cool that you can see into the future though. You have no idea what this year has in store for them. Just because you don't like the players or the scheme they have, doesn't mean they won't have some success.

we don't like the players in the secondary cause they have proven to everyone but mayhew that they blow goats....

It's a young group, minus Houston and Mathis. They should improve with a better passrush this year. Have faith...

We have to hope slay improves....no one else has potential to be better. Quin and ihedigbo will be steady but not stellar. Houston and Mathis will continue to be aged veterans with not much to offer.
