Lions coaches . Look maybe I was wrong about Caldwell . Hell 9-7 is better then shit for brains Patrica’s last 2 season. Funny how Lions front office runs winning coaches out of town.

Joe Schmidt was 43-34-7 for a .558 winning percent. Yeah he only made the wildcard playoffs once and finished 2nd in four of his six seasons but that was when the Vikings were dominating. In 1972 the Lions bad look struck again as we were 7-4 with three games left just like the Packers. Packers go 3-0 down the stretch, and Lions Go 1-1-1 including getting hammered by the packers on the road. Sadly the earlier game was a 1 point home lost to GB. Anyway Joe leaves after 1972 because he said Russ Thomas made his job to difficult.

Joe Caldwell was 36-28 for .563 winning percent and 2 playoff losses. I’d rather have this then what Matt is doing.

Matthew Stafford wanting to be traded? Please. How dumb do they think Lions fans are? Evidently we have our share of them. Right after we recorded, Kelly Stafford came out on her Instagram and clearly stated that they aren?t going anywhere. We also cover what a Detroit rebuild would look like. Down to how the organization would undertake such an operation. Again, its not happening barring a massive tragedy, and we don?t see that coming.

What choices will the Lions have to make to become an immediate contender?

That?s the all-too-familiar mantra that fans of bad teams adopt in the offseason. There?s no reason not to cling to that kind of hope, as making the jump from last place in the division to first place is somewhat common in the NFL.

For the Detroit Lions, the San Francisco 49ers are the most poignant example. The parallels are undeniable in some cases. A third-year head coach. The previous season marred by a quarterback injury. That tanked season leading to a top-three pick that gives each team the opportunity to get a game-changing defensive talent to turn around the fortunes of that side of the ball.

But no two teams are exactly alike, and the Lions will have to forge their own way to make something out of the 2020 season. And with pressure from ownership, they don't? have much of a choice other than to turn things around, and do it right now.
