As of right now that's a pretty favorable away schedule. 13-3 SUPER BOWL!!! STAFFORD MVP! I'm buying my plane ticket to Atlanta right now.

That 2nd link.. "Still, it looks like the Lions will go at least 15-1 next year, most likely 16-0."

Did this get wrtten by LKP?

I like the schedule. 10 wins is doable with decent qb play and defensive stops , and red zone production!

Home schedule looks great. 6-2.
Chicago,GB, Minnesota, Dallas, Kc, Chargers, Giants, and Tampa Bay.

Road schedule is easy a 4-4 schedule.
Chicago, GB, Minnesota, Az, Denver, Oakland, Eagles, and Washington.

Super bowl here we come!

We just won 6 games and got blown out by the Jets. Better have some draft if we're winning 10.

That is a lot of ifs. At Denver, Philly, and Washington won't be easy.

NFC North should be tougher next year, don't see GB being another two wins.

AFC West is not going to be fun. KC and LAC are obviously tough games. Couldn't get a good gauge on Denver this year, I know they had some injuries and Keenum sucks. Oakland could be much improved next year, 5th most cap space and a shit ton of draft picks.

NFC East is a bit more murky. Washington should be better without all the injuries. Philly is still good, had a depleted secondary but managed to squeak into the playoffs this year. Dallas is a tiny bit overrated IMO, but still tough. Giants are ?????, is Eli coming back?

TB and Arizona should be winnable.

I'm not all that excited about the Lions next year (yet). Cap space is average at best compared to the rest of the league and they lost some draft power with the win yesterday. The offense should be better with the return of some key pieces (MJJ & Kerryon). I just don't see the makeup of this team being that much different next year.

My way too early prediction is 8-8 (4-4 at home, 4-4 on the road) and even that feels generous.

The NFC always seems a bit murky. You never know what they'll do. The NYG weren't as bad I might have thought and Barkley can win games by himself. A good WR and they could compete.

Remember we lost to the NYJ and Buffalo. Those fans of these teams are thinking the same thing "Lions, winnable."

I think that the Packers are in regression and closing in on a post-Rodgers rebuild. New coaching staff will need time to install a new system.

Next year looks like the Lions will win 7-9 games, not good enough for the playoffs. Stafford is not destined to lead the Lions to their first Superbowl appearance IMO, as that ship has sailed. He might be able to QB a WC team to a playoff win or two @ best before he is traded, leaves via FA, is cut, or retires.

Has Jim Bob Cooties been fired yet? No?

I think the TB guy got fired before he left the field why is Jim Bob still here?

Steve Wilks fired after one season as Cards' HC.

Vance Joseph canned as HC of Broncos after two seasons.

If the Lions completely cleaned house tomorrow I wouldn’t be all that disappointed

I know it's early, but 8-8 is what I expect. Too much to fix to expect much more than that.

I'm thinking a 5-11 season. Need lots of defense, a WR, OL and a QB ;-).

Holes at LG, WR3, RB2, DE, ILB, CB, NB, DB and your Rush OLB needs to be improved. Lets see if Bob Quin can cover 10 holes this offseason. If he gets like 5 of them covered its another 5 win season. He gets 10 it could be a 9 win season. He gets 0 were going 0-16.

3-3 vs division
2-2 AFC West
2-2 NFC East
2-0 AZ/TB
...is our ceiling.

Recrod predictions for next year are pointless at this time, things always change a lot for many teams from one year to the next, trades, FA signings, draft etc I’ll wait till the pre season before making any assessments

True but there's one constant, Detroit. 61 years and basically zilch.

I could clearly see during the 2018 pre season the lions were going to be garbage. Well see what they do in the off season. I don?t expect half the current team to be back next year
