Lions 2019 opponents

Holes at LG, WR3, RB2, DE, ILB, CB, NB, DB and your Rush OLB needs to be improved. Lets see if Bob Quin can cover 10 holes this offseason. If he gets like 5 of them covered its another 5 win season. He gets 10 it could be a 9 win season. He gets 0 were going 0-16.

3-3 vs division
2-2 AFC West
2-2 NFC East
2-0 AZ/TB
...is our ceiling.

Lmao. You think any team in the NFL can cover 10 holes?? You're sniffing glue lol. Be happy if 3 or 4 holes get covered. And when I mean covered, I mean players that can contribute. We had more new players this yr contribute and we still only won 6 games. K. Johnson, Ragnow, Hand, Harrison, Kennard and Okwara all had decent/good yrs. That's players who were drafted or free agent pick ups. There is no set number of players. It's about consistency and we don't have it. Offense was in shambles with bad play for the most part and injuries. Defense was fucking horrible but played better down the stretch. Still shit but like I said, NO CONSISTENCY. Get that and you make some noise...

Saying that, I see 9-7. Gotta steal 2 or 3 games somehow and it could be done.

I remember the first game played in 1970 November 26th 1970.Little Bob was in a body cast from a broken femur. Lions were down 14-0, and we getting laughed at by the big bad Raiders. Lions scored 14 in the 2nd quarter, and 14 in the 4th quarter, and won 28-14 to improve to 7-4. This team was 5–4, and as everyone knows won the last five games they played and finished 10-4 and was the NFC’s first Wildcard team.
Sadly they lost that 5-0 wildcard playoff game in Dallas.

I expect we'll win games vs teams where we're underdogs and lose games vs teams where we're favorites .. like this season. 8-8.

One MNF game

Good schedule. First 6 set the tone nicely

Lions needed one more prime time game though

Could start 1-5, 2-4 is probably more likely.

3-3 at worst start
Chargers/Chiefs at home and Chiefs D is decimated.
at Cards still suck but will be a little better and may have Murray
at Eagles is tough but far from possible
Lions have won 3 of last 4 games at Lambeau Field and a bye to prepare
Vikings at Ford Field. I like the Lions chances for some revenge.

Could the Lions face the top 4 rookie QBs this year
Murray with Cards, Daniel Jones with Giants if Eli stinks it up early, Haskins with Washington over Keenum and Lock with Denver late in the season probably over Flacco by then.

4 rookies or Eli/Flacco/Keenum, Trubisky twice, Rodgers twice, Cousins twice, Winston, Derek Carr, Mahomes, Rivers, Dak Prescott, Carson Wenz. Some good ones in there but Lions can have some success

Barring injury of course. Kizer, Chase Daniel, Sean Mannion backups in the NFC North
4 rookies or Eli/Flacco/Keenum/Hundley, Sudfield/Throson for Eagles, Blaine Gabbert for Bucs, Cooper Rush for Cowboys, Landry or Jones or Mike Glennon for Raiders, Tyrod Taylor for Chargers, Chad Henne or EJ Manuel for Chiefs
