#Lions fire ST coach Joe Marciano. He was a holdover from Caldwell staff. Special Teams have been an issue all year.

The Marciano firing shows this is a "what have you done for me lately" league. As I noted in my article the Lions finished 5th & 6th in Sp.T DVOA the last 2 years & sent Agnew (2017) & Prater (2016) to the pro bowl. Martin was an alternate in 2016 as well after a franchise year.
