Lions Fire Special Teams Coach Joe Marciano

And.....??

When did you join the moron train bro? You're better than this lol...cmon

Baker Mayfield will win a playoff game within a decade. Wanna bet? Stafford has had the talent around him to do this, yet he hasn't. He's the most overrated qb of all time

Without CJ, bet Mayfield wins a playoff game in the next decade too. Really, what has Stafford done since he's been here? He still makes horrible rookie throws, still ridiculously inconsistent, still can't make this team a contender

Give me a ****ing break lol

How is Stafford overrated? He gets shit on constantly lol

What says he isnt trash? What has he done that makes him any better than the lower tier of QBs?

He's having a bad yr, yes. Where were you the last 3-4 yrs when he's been a top 5-6 QB??? Now you run your gums?? Give me a ****ing break lol

Im not even saying he's trash... I'm just saying he has to win games cause or defense sucks ass. I also think we should move Away from his salary in 2022 if we still are at the bottom of our division. That's 4 years with Patricia/quin... if it hadn't happened by then it's just never going to.

2-6-1 81 million in cap space next year
vs
3-5 42 million in cap space.

Browns may be saying, hey at least our future is better than the Lions.

You can blow $80M as easily as you can blow $40M.......cap space doesn?t mean shit if you don?t spend it the right way.

That goes for both GM?s.

Way different game 10 years ago.

It is somewhat easier today than 10 years ago, but nothing like comparing it to 20-25 years ago.

Of course, that argument can backfire on someone who says Stafford has improved over the past few years...because it's getting easier.

2009 5 qbs over 100 rating
Highest 109
#10 93.2
#20 80.9

2017 5 qbs over 100
Highest 104
#10 95.4
#20 84.7

Lol....so you choose Staffords rookie year when comparing him to Mayfield....but use 2017 as Mayfields stats while he was playing in college.

2018 (a year in which the guy YOU made the comparison is actually playing in the NFL)

11 guys over 100 rating
Highest 120
#10- 100.8
#20- 92.9

Last full year, yes, that's what I used. To get the closest comparison, allows to factor in winter games among other things. Seems like a better comparison than a partial year.

Or is 2018 a completely different game than 2017 too?

You want to use the stats From a player competing in 2018 for a comparison, but use the stats from a different year to compare his rookie year to Staffords?

Seems like a well thought out, intelligent way to do it.

You are the one that claimed the game was significantly different. So educate us.

I'll even make it more simple, what significantly changed since 2017 to this year that made it easier to play QB.

I compared two rookies, you are the one that made the claim of it being way different and implying it's much easier now. So support your argument. Or can't you actually defend it?

I?m not the one who made a dumb ass argument.....but this one is easy.

10 years ago, Matthew Stafford 2018 performance, he would have been the MOST accurate passer in the NFL and the 5th highest rated. Over Brees, Manning (still in his prime in IND) Rogers and Brady.

Should I drop the mic now....or do you want me to hold on to it for your future schooling?s?

Different game.

Except he would be the 8th rated, not 5th. And 5th in completion percentage not 1st

But cool story.

10 years ago.....2008. Same time frame I used in my original argument.

2018-10=2008

It?s not hard. My 7 year old could help you next time.....just ask.
