I made the EXACT point I wanted to make. Had I wanted to compare rookie years I would have said and then done that. I used 10 years simply because it’s a nice round number. So then.....unbelievably...... I quoted stats from 10 years ago. I never compared Stafford and Mayfield’s rookie years....Brewer did. I simply compared Mayfields stats to QB’s from 10 years ago.....which again.....was my original statement.

The only way you get a complete team is a franchise qb on a hometown discount or a qb on a rookie contract that overperforms.

I never said he was currently better than Stafford. But the little bit I've seen on him in the NFL, the kid looks like he could be legit. No reason to write him off as a bust.

Normally I wouldn't take anything (more playoffs, even a playoff win) to be the Browns the past 20 years. But after awhile 3 wins in 3 years or 9-7 year after year not sure there's a big difference. Still no playoff wins.
