Overall, the odds of the Lions rallying in all seven of those games and coming away with victories, according to PredictionMachine.com, are .0025%.
That equates to 1 of every 40,000 chances! (NOTE: Website incorrectly says 1 in 400).

I would have actually thought it'd be higher than 1 in 40,000.

It wasn't luck. Every play was earned. Other team was lucky game was close.

I don't know what the odds of the Lions winning the Super Bowl was at the beginning of the season, but it had to be better than this.

Det News was just talking about this. Apparently Pro Football Reference has a model which gave the Lions odds of winning all 7 games the way they did at 1 in 8.65 Billion. Which is about 25 x less likely than one of us winning the Powerball.

whether its 40,000-1 or 1 in almost 9 Billion, I think its safe to say that this season has been special so far, and we are not likely to witness anything like it ever again. Fingers crossed they can play just well enough to make the playoffs and even (welp) host a playoff game!
