Tony, you really need to make up your mind with Ebron. First you hated it, then you understood it, hated it, now you are defending it.

Here's the deal. When you have a great #1 and #2 in terms of WRs, and SUPPOSEDLY a QB that is one of the best in the league, spending a TOP 10 pick on a LUXURY (which a WR/TE pass-catching phenom) is an absolute waste. There have only been four TEs taken in the top 10 in the past 25 years. It makes this pick worse when you just signed your other TE to a four year contract.

There was plenty of other routes they could have gone. Basically everyone in the first round had a really good rookie year. Trade the pick, take Donald, anyone else. Lions went back to their Millen-style of drafting and thought they were the smartest cats in the room.

I'm not sure on his evaluation as a blocker. But you just responded to blocking with a recieving stat page.

I know. I just wanted to show how low on the charts he was as a TE in value and I did space the paragraph. As far as blocking, he doesn't even show up on any. Pettigrew did on the pass protection. Neither even made a list on run blocking. They both were pretty bad as the whole line was. Guard play was so good in 2013 it made 2014 a total disaster.
