Lions lowball George Johnson Bucs sign him to 3 year offer sheet

There it is again!! Stafford's fault for EE's failures??? Are you seriously this numb? For sure Stafford either raped your mom or sister. Nobody is this stupid

He called Tate pedestrian again too after it was proven he was good with Calvin. Per game numbers back it up.

per game numbers are pedestrian....ive posted them many times. 1 touchdown and numerous games around 50 yards.

We blame EE a lot for dropping 3 touchdown passes. All 3 were horrid throws. So ya....Stafford plays a part in it.

You mean games where they didn't even target Tate for a quarter or half?

Targets are just as important when looking at counting stats.

Good in draft and free agency (with cheaper deals for good players). Great job Mayhew.
Mayhew has not done great in the draft. Better than Millen but not great. He has been average. He did average in FA last year but years prior, below average as you can not ignore extensions which give you wiggle room immediately and kill you on the back end.

Way more than 50 yards a game. Still a 1,000 yards receiver average per game. Not pedistrian, good WR. You have a terrible memory hughes. Awful

He's done a good job in the draft, great in free agency and they manage the cap well despite pre-CBA contracts and extensions from those contract.

They should extend Mayhew another 5 years at least.

We know he can make a great throw now and then but one thing holds him back, consistency. You can't be a good QB without it..

66 yards per game like I said. So you lied saying 50 YPG. 1,056 yards over 16 games. That is not pedestrian you twit. 1,000 yard WR with Calvin. The Lions have two number 1 WRs locked up long term. Great job Mayhew.

Arguing that Tate is average, I think I've seen it all here. Of all the dumbass arguments on this board, that one may be the worst.

He's easily top 30 based on production (not necessarily counting stats), which doesn't always account for talent. I think he could put up even better numbers given the chance.

Hughes needs to look up what pedestrian means. He's just a fucktard troll.

Tate, by default, became the number 1 receiving target for the 2013 Super Bowl champs.

I don't care what stat people have, or what bullshit they make up, if that isn't above average, I don't know what is.

We're lucky to have gotten the guy, and we're lucky we did it on the price tag we got him for.

Let's be honest, if not for the beef between him and Russell Wilson over Tate giving Wilson's wife the bone, Seattle would have paid a lot more to keep him. Tate in Seattle in 2014, and the Seahawks are back to back champs.

You must be thinking of another team. List his FA signings and you will see. No way do you sign him, he can't bring it home.

I didn't know about that last part. I think I'll hate the guy now..

Hard to say what really went down, no pun intended.

There were rumors. Tate denied diddling his wife. Wilson has never commented. But the team clearly felt there was enough between them not to bring Tate back.

When CJ went down he became the default number one for the true 2014 Super Bowl champs.

you guys are hysterical.

Staffords stats suck...but that doesn't matter.
tate does literally nothing all year when CJ was healthy....that doesn't matter
Leshoure was "the best we had".....until you look at his stats...that doesn't matter
Ansah is a beast....nevermind the part that he has low sack numbers cause sacks don't matter

guess what retards.....if Stafford had better numbers, leshoure actually ran for good numbers, ansah ha dmore sacks instead of hurries and tate was more productive when CJ was on the field......then just maybe LKPs dreamworld would become a reality one of these days. But that never happens and we settle for "oh theyre really really good players.....it doesn tmatter that they don't produce statistically.....lets just al believe they are really good players."
