Lions trades

Based on all the people wanting to criticize my other thread, I'm guessing this poll will be highly skewed to the 0 players option, but I'm curious how many actually believe that.

So let's see it. The "at least 1 player" can include guys on the Practice Squad by the way. If you think they will trade at least 1 player in ANY fashion, whether straight up or part of a larger trade, you do NOT have to name the player. This is solely a poll on whether or not the Lions will or will not trade anyone from their current roster.

Gotta go with 0. Minus the players who aren't going anywhere I'm not sure we have anyone worth a damn when it comes to trade. And the NFL is not much of a player for player trade league.

with the cap remaining at 120 million and taking a hit on traded players the minute you trade them....I'd say none also.

I could see Avril signing a tender and us getting picks for. But that's not a trade. I don't see him getting a LT deal and then getting dealt.

If we slap the tag, and he signs the one-year franchise deal, we can then trade him and take no cap hit. Much more realistic than someone signing him to a deal while he's got the tag, since that would cost two first round picks. I think Corey Williams was tagged by the Packers a while back and then traded to Cleveland for a 2nd. It happens.

I guess I can't fathom another team offering us a pick or a player for 12m Avril. With the new CBA, not sure the tag numbers are the same but that's a lot of beans.

Its $10 mil. But the team would definitely give him a long term contract.

And this is the NFL. There are plenty of stupid teams, and it only takes one. Avril is a young pass rusher. Teams overpay for those.

It just takes one sucker...

Personally, I think we trade Corey Williams unless he restrutures. Someone would send a 6th our way for him. Which we may in turn trade away for another player.

Aaron Berry for a half-eaten Coney and a shot of cheap Canadian whiskey

Corey Williams will be gone. He makes too much money for a rotational DT. Fairley will start next year and Hill looks good.
